Dreaming of spectacular sunrises and sunsets from your oceanfront vacation home? You've found it. Poseidon is a unique property with multi-level decks and unmatched ocean views that grants you complete privacy within the beautiful, friendly Treasure Island community.

The house sits on 2 semi-private beaches and is perfect for families or anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle. You'll be far enough from Galveston tourist spots to enjoy the peace and quiet, but close enough for day trips to check out the many attractions, shops, and restaurants.

Relax in the spacious, inviting living area with ocean views. Put on a movie or a big game. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to make pre-beach breakfasts, snacks, or delicious home-cooked dinners. The custom bar allows for plenty of extra seating.

The master suite has a king bed and a twin sofa chair. The second bedroom has a comfortable queen, while the third bedroom has a queen and a pyramid bunk bed (sleeps 2 on bottom, 1 on top). The master boasts great ocean views and its own private deck. The other bedrooms have Smart TVs.

The main deck gives you excellent views of the San Luis Pass Bridge and plenty of opportunities to watch the birds fly by or hear the waves lap below. The front of the house is a great spot for fishing in the pass.

In the Area:
Poseidon is in the beautiful Treasure Island community just across the San Luis Pass. Located in between Surfside Beach and Galveston, this beautiful area is well known for its beaches, fishing, boating and birdwatching. There are many miles of beaches in the surrounding area. Located about 30 minutes from Galveston and all the attractions.

Things to note:

-The treasure island subdivision sits in San Luis Pass – a very renown fishing spot. The currents that make for excellent fishing may make swimming prohibited in the pass. The county beach is located at the west-end of the subdivision (about a block away from the house). The currents are far less strong on the county beach.
-The boat launch is public and available for use to any guest. Overnight parking is permitted.
-There are food trucks located on Bluewater highway. Normal business hours.
-The nearest grocery store is in Surfside Beach about 10-15 minutes away.
-No pets or parties are allowed.
-Any additional guests past max occupancy (10) must be approved by Connect Coastal

Right on the water!

The home was beautiful, comfortable, and just steps away from the waves! It was relaxing to sit on the deck and watch the waves roll in. This was just what my husband and I needed for a weekend getaway.

If the house is rockin'

The location is absolutely amazing. Views & sunrises were gorgeous. But I guess being so close to the water has its disadvantages too. We could actually feel the house move/sway. It was a bit disturbing but from what I have read, that is somewhat normal. The reason for the lower overall rating is that there was a leak in upstairs bathroom ceiling-water actually dripping & pooling on the floor. We reported it and when the repair man arrived, he told us it was a known leak and they're not sure if they want to fix it or just let the new owner's fix it---the property is for sale. What??? There are some other things that need to be repaired in the home (cosmetic) and there is debris outside but I guess the reasons for not fixing are the same as above. We got the feeling that the owner just wants out and doesn't really care about the house anymore, which is a shame.

East Texas peeps

We loved the house and location. The cleaning crew needs to learn to clean we found dirty panties in the side of the couch, inside the drawers in the kitchen were filthy, The downstairs deck hadn’t been cleaned at all there was trash also in the staircase going up to the house it was very unacceptable I tried contacting the people but never got a response till I got home a few days later with the reply that they knew about the stairs and it was going to be worked on. That was not even one of my complaints Obviously they have not read my email thoroughly. It’s a shame because the house and the location are great and I’m sure it’s not the owners fault but the cleaning crew is horrible and we pay for cleaning services We took pictures of all the stuff but I don’t know how to put them in the review which is probably a good thing. Also none of the restroom doors lock Which I had read on a previous review but never got addressed I’m guessing. Any contact with these people Is nonexisting. I gave it a 4 star because the house is nice and so is the location. We would love to go back but they definitely need a better cleaning crew

Needs updated

The place was nice, but isn’t really the safest for younger kids. Had to put a rock under one side of the steps going up to bottom deck, because it was just freely hanging and not safe. Tons of weak wood, but I guess that’s to be expected by the ocean. The pics are deceiving when the water levels are higher, because it looks like there is beach directly next to the house, but there isn’t. However, the private beach access just a minute down the way was nice. Was an over all decent stay.
