Rooms were clean, view was absolutely fantastic! The only things to address is the central bathroom needed a deep clean- mold. The blinds were broken and needed to be replaced. Middle bedroom needs the mattress replaced, there is a dip in it. Maybe some updates, flat pillows on the couch were kinda sad. Other than that I loved the location and the house over all.

Very nice property and well maintained. No complaints. I would book again. The only thing that I didn’t like was no fault of the property owner and not in their control. A lot of tar balls were washing up on the beach and I found out the hard way how difficult it is to get off of your skin.

The property was beautiful, exactly what we were looking for. It would have been nice to have the house get a little colder, but we were definitely comfortable! It was also difficult to get the key code for the door to work. We would have to press the code MULTIPLE times before the door would budge.

Perfect location, on the west end of the island, pretty quiet, property has everything you need to have great vacation. We did have a small problem with getting in the house initially but managed to contact the property manager and get the problem resolved quickly.

The house fit our family needs. Right on the beach and a lovely view. Our main focus was to be beach front away from the main island and this property provided that! We would stay here again!

One of the best locations on the Island. Right on the ocean.

Great location, very nice house with everything you need to have a great vacation. We did have an issue with getting into the house to begin with. After working with Evolve, we were happy with the final resolution and were very happy with our stay.

Great space & view

My family of 4 (kids aged 6 & 8) & my parents stayed here. We loved the amount of space we had; didn't feel like we were on top of each other, unless we wanted to be cuddled up! The weather was cold & rainy when we were here, so we really enjoyed all the windows looking out at the beach. The location of the house made quick walks when it cleared up easy!

Perfect location. House was clean. Lots of extra space. This home had all the kitchen needs required. Extra bathrooms were great for a house of boys and just 2 girls. Edrooms had comfy beds. Steps from the beach was one of the perks. Front porch views amazing. We will definitely be staying again.

My family and I drove from Wisconsin to enjoy some time away. The house was exactly what was pictured. It has everything that is needed to make your stay as easy as possible. The owners were very responsive via texts. We loved the beach and how private it was. My kids loved the swimming each and every day! Memories were made! <3

As described, walk out to the beach

Location was amazing and exactly why I booked this specific house. Plenty of pots/pans, dishes. House was well laid out and felt very spacious. Only advice, stop at the $1 store and buy paper towels, sponge for dishes, dishwasher soap, laundry soap and soft toilet paper. Shampoo/conditioner if you want better than motel 6. Overall, it was amazing and nothing $20 didn’t fix. I’d book again in a heartbeat.

Expected nicer place for the money

Location was great but the house lacked the cleanliness and the beach vibe. The bottom door lock is not working, windows were dirty and half the shades around the house were broken. House smellled musty. There was no beach chairs or beach towels available. Furniture and carpet were old and dirty. If you are looking for place to sleep the house was ok but if you want to enjoy the coastal living this is not the place. It is time to refresh and update for the mone the owners are asking. Im basing my opinion on other houses I've stayed in over the years.

You get what you pay for

We arrived at night, the out door sensor lights were not working, I walked into the picnic table and injured my leg. The house had a strong mildew smell, we found mouse droppings and notified the property management. The house had a great view of the gulf except for the garbage strewn all over the lot between the house and the beach. I mentioned this also to the property manager, you would think they would want to have a great ambiance for the house and view, but they never picked up the garbage. I was disappointed with the property management.

Allergy Sufferers Beware

This property had a great location and enough space for a large family. It is an older house with dated decor, but that doesn't deter from the ocean view. One of the many downfalls was that the property was very, very dirty. There was also evidence of mice. The most noticable issue was the musty smell and it made vacation very difficult for those in our family with allergies. I emailed the property manager about the condition of the property and the mouse droppings when we checked in but didn't hear back until the next afternoon. The manager offered to clean while we were out but it would have taken longer than that one of our outings to clean appropriately, so we just dealt with it. It should have been properly cleaned and ready for us when we arrived.

Best little beach house in Texas!

We were pleased when we arrived and saw the location of this home. The beach views are amazing and can be seen from the front windows if only they were clean. I didn’t let a little elbow grease stop me from enjoying the views and cleaned them myself. The deck is safe for little one just as long as they ware shoes. We had two splinters events on our 3 YO and 5 YO’s feet. The kitchen is well appointed and needs a few items replaced like a pizza cutter and a few more kitchen towels. The trail to the house from the beach is short but the shower head was missing from the downstairs shower and we had to carry the kids upstairs to the bath every time we went to the beach. The beds are good and comfortable after a long day but the kids steel bunk beds need a little oil to stop the squeaks at night so everyone gets a good nights rest. The bath towels were super soft and comforting after the end of the day shower. This house has great bathrooms for a large family and a half bath near the living room in case you have napping kids near the kids rooms. Next time, I’ll bring my own barbecue because both BBQ’s on site were dirty. I will for sure come back again to this beach house but thought I should communicate the items that needed attention for the next guest.
