About 10 km south from Syracuse there is the seashore called Terrauzza, which presents fascinating rocky coasts and a blue and crystalline sea. The rocky coastlines are spectacular and at the foot of a cliff path walk. The next sandy beaches are at about 5,5 km (Lido Arenella) and at about 9 km (Fontane Bianche) from the residence. Lido Arenella is one of the best-organised and most beautiful private beach clubs of the eastern Sicilian coast. The beach resort of Terrauzza guarantees a regular bus connection with Syracuse every 90 minutes.

Distances from Villa Vella: simple shopping, bus stop and a public telephone box about 200 m, restaurants and pizzeria about 7 km, newspaper kiosk about 8 km (summer time only). A mall (open from Monday to Sunday) and Lidl are in Syracuse.

This elegant villa is located at about 700 m walk from the rock coast, with a beautiful view of the landscape and the nearby Ionian Sea and a private pool and fitness room. The spacious villa offers an elegant furnishing for up to eight people in four bedrooms and with four bathing rooms on around 220 sqm, which are divided into two living levels.

The outdoor area of ​​this property is a colourful game of nature where flowers, palm trees, various tree species and well -kept lawn areas, surrounded by hedges, alternate harmoniously. Seatings were created in different places in the garden to enjoy nature from different perspectives and where everyone can find their small, private place. A small pond is crossed by a bridge and leads to the next green site where the view of the landscape and the open sea can develop freely. Mount Etna is also visible on clear days. Inside the garden there is a gazebo covered and surrounded by plants with seating possibilities which offer a mild shadow and a pleasant fresh stay on warm summer days. Right in front of the house is the private pool (13x8/2.5m, open from 01.04 to 31.10)with an irregular shape and seating and lying options on and around the pool area. Also, from the pool area there is a view of the landscape and the sea, which gives bathing an even more pleasant and flair. An outer grill is available. Fresh bread can be obtained every morning in the small grocery store, which is about 150 m away. Private parking for up to three cars within the completely fenced property. A rental car is recommended for the duration of the stay.

Important Note: The owner lives in a separate apartment adjacent to the house with separate access. This means that the privacy of the guests is in no way influenced.

Ground floor: Accommodation (ground floor): Through the entrance door you can reach the hallway which leads to the bright living room with upholstered furniture, reading corner, TV corner with flat screen and dining table. On comfortable sofa furniture you can relax in front of an open fireplace with a glass of wine on colder seasons. Firewood at an additional cost and according to consumption. Due to the size of the living space, this room is equipped with two air conditioning. A separate room with air conditioning, desk and two office chairs can be reached via the living room where you can do any office work left behind from home. Wi-fi available. The eat-in kitchen with dining table and air conditioning for the warmer days and a tiled stove for the colder days is equipped with all the necessary for a cooking pleasure: hob with 4 gas rings, gas oven, dishwasher, a small, portable electric oven and microwave. Espresso machine (classic espresso maker) available. A bedroom with a French double bed, i.e. a little narrower than usual, offer the first two of the eight sleeping facilities in the house. Opposite the bedroom there is a bathroom with shower, toilet & bidet. Before you reach the stairs, which leads to the other bedrooms at the first floor, music lovers can play some notes on the piano for family and friends available here. It is noteworthy that the entire ground floor consists of marble while the floor at the 1st floor is made of wooden parquet.

First floor: A 20-step staircase leads to the remaining bedrooms of this villa. Right at the end of the stairs you reach the first of the three bedrooms with double bed, air conditioning, desk. Bathroom en suite with shower, toilet & bidet. A glass door enables access to a small balcony with two seats and a small table for the morning coffee. From here you overlook the private pool and enjoy the view of the blue of the nearby sea which is no longer than a short walk away. Said balcony is shared with the adjacent second bedroom on this floor. This bedroom, also with air conditioning and bathroom en suite with shower, toilet & bidet, offers a French bed. Here, too, there is a small desk and a glass door to the balcony. The third bedroom on this floor, also with air conditioning, offers bathroom en suite with shower & small bathtub in one, toilet & bidet and a glass door to a separate balcony with two seatings and a small breakfast table. The view from here extends to the surrounding landscape and a little bit also to the sea. A washing machine is available. A portable baby bed and high chair are available and included in the price. Please reserve baby cot and high chair if required at the moment of booking.

The winter garden can be described as an ideal connecting place between the comfortable interior of the house and the wonderful outdoor area of ​​this property. Here is the third dining table of the house where you can enjoy your breakfast and the view of the pool which extends up to the lush garden, the landscape, till the horizon of the sea. After breakfast you can then relax on the spacious sofa of the winter garden and join the family or friends while swimming in the pool. Adjacent to the winter garden and with almost the same view, the fitness room is available to the guests.
