Secluded bungalow in woodland near the sea & picturesque village of Staithes.
One-bedroom self-contained holiday annexe at the end of our Victorian single-storey dwelling. Set in woodland, it was built originally for the foreman of the Grinkle Ironstone mine, and there are many interesting walks nearby, including the Cleveland Way. It is a 10-minute walk into Dalehouse with its lovely pub, and a further 10-minute walk into historic Staithes itself with its pubs/ cafes/shops. You can hop on a bus from Staithes to Saltburn or Whitby. We have parking for one (possibly 2) cars and the additional benefit of an EV charger..The kitchenette, as shown in the pictures, is small but perfectly functional. The barbecue area on the deck (with retractable cover) gives further culinary options. We provide a welcome/ breakfast pack on arrival. If you love watching wildlife and need a tranquil setting this could be the place for you.
