Quiet Cabin Up North 🌊☀️

This clean and well maintained rustic cabin is a great place to get away from the busy world. It sleeps 9 PEOPLE (10 counting the roll away bed in the closet) , so it is perfect for families!

We are across the street from Long Lake (with access down the road) which is just outside of Hale, Michigan. Go explore the sand dunes, grab a bite to eat from Main Street Pizza and finish it off with a large scoop of ice-cream from Victorian Cafe. It is also 15 minutes from Largo Springs, Lumberman's Monument, and the sand dunes. It is aso close to Tawas and Oscoda Beach! Whether you are looking to rent a boat and enjoy a few days on the water, lounge around and cook over the fire, or explore the area on a hiking expedition, this place has all that you are looking for on your getaway.

You are encouraged to unplug and unwind here. The real world will be there when you return.

We very much enjoyed our stay, from coffee and breakfast on the cozy porch to watching the deer in the back as we prepared for a campfire! It’s close to the beaches in Oscoda, and East Tawas, Round and Sand Lake , areas we enjoy and Island Lake where we once enjoyed a family cottage! The cottage was clean and inviting! Extra special that our two dogs could stay also!

Clean home with thoughtful touches all over. All 7 of us slept well on comfortable beds. Very responsive hosts from booking to check out process. We enjoyed the fire pit a couple nights and the sweet deer that kept watch.

We didn't have a bit of problem. User issues but check-in was easy. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the Wi-Fi was easy to log into. We really didn't have a problem finding the house either. It was so convenient, only 30 minutes away, to get to Huron Lake. It was so peaceful and that is all we asked for when renting the house. Thank you so much for giving us great information and directions to get to the house.Mary Ann
