About this property
Cosy Cottage Central Marazion with Parking
Summary:
Tregarthen cottage is a quaint cottage in the heart of Marazion with parking, situated 5 minutes walk from the center of Marazion, and 10 minutes walk from the Magical St Michaels Mounts. The cottage boasts a real woodburner and maintains many of its original features, with bright garden views from the bedroom and living room the cottage is the perfect cosy home away from home to discover all the West Country has to offer.
The Space:
Tregarthen Coattage is a one bedroom with spacious shower room off the bedroom.
Ground Floor
Living room/ kitchen with sofa and dining area, There is a semi-private outdoor space to the front of the property that can be seen in the photos. (The owner occasionally has to use the stairs to gain access to her cottage)
First Floor
Double Bedroom with spacious shower room and garden views.
(Small well behaved pets are welcome but not permitted to sleep on the bed or sofa).
The beach/ Marazion is a few minutes walk away and with a big stretch St Michaels Mount can be seen from the outdoor space. Cute and cosy this annexe cottage has its own private entrance and outdoor space where you can just about see the Mount from :)
Please note there is WIFI in the property but the signal is not strong this end of Marazion is renowned for not having the best connection.
As much of the properties in central Marazion parking is limited, the cottage has a dedicated parking space down a small (slightly narrow) lane that houses parking for 5 properties.
There is a fire place however this is not the primary source of heating the radiators are. We do provide a starter pack for an initial fire (nov-feb) but if you wish to have real fires for the duration of your stay the little shop down the road sells all you will need.
Please look closely at the listed pictures there are stairs to get down to the cottage from the main road "Fore Street".
Guest Access:
The cottage is accessible via a key safe so you can arrive at your convenience, the key safe is located outside the private entrance .
The Lane leading to the parking space is a little narrow & the space itself snug it fits my large SUV fine but you may need to use some manoeuvring skills if a car is parked next to you.
The Neighborhood:
Marazion is one of the oldest chartered towns in the UK, with plenty of charm and a friendly welcome for visitors. Explore the quaint streets, lined with beautiful old cottages and elegant merchants' houses, a reminder of its history as a busy tin trading port. Gorgeous Sandy beach and the beautiful St Michaels Mount make this small town picture perfect and a place you will always remember. :)
Getting Around:
The bus stop is a couple of minutes walk from the cottage, for buses to Penzance or St Ives.
Other Things to Note:
The property is joined to the next door cottage, there is a door for access between, this is permanently locked and the owner next door mostly resides in London.
The garden is for your sole use, however the owner needs to pass through for access to her cottage.
The cottage is on the road side so some traffic can be heard. The cottage may not be suitable for young children.
