First time visiting Nosara? NOTE: No dust, no traffic, no construction noise, gated property at my beachfront location. Nearest hotel is $360/night.

BEACHFRONT: 1 minute walk through the national park to the ocean. No traffic, no dust, set off a private road. Please view vrbo 624739 to see other ratings for this property. The Studio is located within a private property that has 6 total rental units. The Studio has a separate entrance, but is within the gated compound. The Studio has shared pool access. The property borders the National Park. It is a 1 minute walk directly on our private path to the Pacific Ocean and the best surf location on Playa Guiones.

The Studio has been rented for 12 years and earned 5-stars on the other vacation sites.

The property is well maintained and has a back up water system, AC unit, kitchenette with Refrigerator, fully stocked for cooking. Plenty of hot water, broadband internet via Wi-Fi.

You can't beat the Studio for a reasonable price and a location that is more expensive everywhere place else surrounding it.

The Studio has one queen bed. It is 60 X 80 inches and of high quality. It is shown in the Listing picture gallery if you click through the pictures.

The Studio has had no security issues in 12 years.

Perfect Surfing Location

Alex's property provides a nice atmosphere for your holiday. The unit had a small cooking area and we were able to prepare basic meals in the studio. We were provided with clean towels, linens etc upon arrival. The unit had a comfortable bed, we felt safe on the property and enjoyed our time. It is perfect for surfing access with a short walk to the main break. Thank you for the stay!

Surf Trip

I stayed in the studio apartment for one week surf vacation. Apartment has a little kitchen, full bathroom A/C and queen bed. The unit is perfect for one or two adults. Property location is right on main break and has a nice pool. Alex was very accommodating with guests. Had a great stay. Pura Vida!!

Dream vacation

This property had everything we needed located in the best place in Costa Rica. The minute long walk to the beach was beautiful right through a nature trail. The property had a nice well-maintained swimming pool. Our studio unit was well-equipped and super comfortable for our 12 day stay. Alex went out of his way to make our experience fantastic. I have already and will continue to Recommend this place to all of my friends.

Dark and disappointong

The positives first for sure, because there are some. GREAT LOCATION! It was Also quiet, had decent AC, and nice grounds with a pool. Remember it’s a studio, so the refrigerator hums and buzzes next to your head all night, As does the microwave as the power goes off every now and then and it chirps until you set the clock. The front door doesn’t seal,so noise and bugs are abound. This place just needs some TLC-clogged drains, broken shower heads, poorly functioning toilets (I’ve traveled in third world countries quite a bit so I know what normal is) dirty blankets and a sheet with blood on it when we got there. The property manager tried to tell the health care provider that it was make-up and not blood on the sheets. Nope, sorry. Blood on sheets sadly is pretty much my zone of expertise. Just a sheet on the bed when we arrived so pulled a light blanket off the shelf, opened it into the bed and sand went everywhere. Was probably used as a beach blanket and was just folded up and put away, hidden from the housekeepers. Property manager tried to tell us it was sand from our feet. As a 40 year surfer, I’d say sand on my feet is my subspecialty, and sandy feet in the bed for me is a major no no. Got the “you get what you paid for” vibe from him several times and was quoted that the rooms across the street were several thousand/night and we paid $X. That was demeaning, was relayed to us the day we arrived, and hung for a few days. LOVE Nosara and the vibe otherwise.

Im not one for long, detailed reviews but this is a great place to stay, the price is very fair and alex is a great host with wonderful local knowledge and excellent recommendations.
