Discover Saint-Béat-Lez from our spacious apartment, with large private balcony overlooking private gardens and the beautiful Pyrénées mountains. This spacious apartment with amazing views and private parking, is perfect for a holiday away whilst enjoying all the comforts of home. The apartment is a 10-minute walk from the village of Saint Beat-Lez with its shops and eateries; 10 minutes from the Spanish border, 10 minutes from Le Mourtis ski resort, and 20 minutes from the spa town and ski resort of Luchon. The region is known for activities such as skiing, cycling and hiking as well as its pretty villages and beautiful scenery. Whether you're planning a day of skiing or leisurely walks through charming villages, this apartment serves as a tranquil base amid the region's natural beauty.

If you love the outdoors, spend warm summer evenings making dinner on our rustic stone barbecue, relaxing on the outdoor seating in the communal gardens overlooking the river. Or in the snowy winter, warm up by toasting marshmallows after a tiring afternoon on the slopes! If you prefer to sample the local produce indoors, don't worry, as the breathtaking views continue upstairs from the large balcony off the sitting and separate dining room, where you have access to television and Wi-Fi, making it easy to stay entertained and connected. A fully functional kitchen lets you craft your meals with ease, featuring a fridge/freezer, hob, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, and filter coffee machine. Enjoy your culinary creations from the kitchen's small balcony overlooking the breathtaking Pic de Gar mountain, or at the 6-person dining room table in the sitting room. Two extra chairs can be provided for additional guests.

When sleep calls, rest weary heads in one of the three comfortable bedrooms, ready for the next day's adventures skiing, walking or simply visiting beautiful France and Spain with your favourite people. A master bedroom features a double bed with gorgeous mountain views of the mountains; the second bedroom is furnished with twin beds, and the third bedroom has twin beds and a camp bed for an extra person. Linens and towels are provided for your comfort.

There are 2 bathrooms - the first full bathroom has a bath with overhead shower and a sink (no WC) and the second half bathroom has a WC but no sink.

Ample private parking is available for the duration of your stay, and please ask us when booking, if you need storage for skis or bikes.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

LOCATION: Saint Beat is a quiet and peaceful village location: 10 minutes from Le Mourtis ski resort, 20 minutes from the spa town and ski resort of Luchon, and 10 minutes from Spain. The region is known for activities such as skiing, cycling and hiking, as well as its many pretty villages. We are under a minute's drive from the centre (you can walk it - approx 10 mins - but caution with pushchairs or dogs), but far enough out to be away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The village is a small and charming spot, with a few shops and a cafe, so it is rarely busy! In the morning, there is more activity as the post office and other shops are open, but you can usually find a space to park in the small car park or on the street. About 5 minutes drive from the village in Cierp-Gaud, there is an Intermarche supermarket, with a laundry facility, car wash and petrol station. There is a Carrefour Express 20 minutes away (a charming country drive) and a SuperU (large supermarket), McDonalds, boulangerie and various other small and large shops at the industrial estate just before Saint Gaudens (20 minutes drive). We are about 10 minutes drive from Spain, and you will pass a few small pretty hamlets on the way. Our neighbours are very pleasant, and the village is in general, friendly and welcoming.

PARKING: Parking is abundant and free at the property but you will need to drive to get to activities and shops (unless walking into the village). Parking is free in the village and you can usually find a space.

GUEST INTERACTION: We have a small reception area which is open at busy times, and for arrivals of guests. While we aim to be here for arrivals, and throughout your stay, if this is not possible, you have a keysafe for entry to the apartment, and access via phone to the manager at all times. Please do not hesitate to contact us to see if we can help with anything during your stay!

DOGS: Dogs are allowed at the property with prior agreement. We love and welcome dogs, but out of respect for other residents, as well as their own safety and wellbeing, dogs must be on a lead at all times; they are not allowed on furniture, and they cannot be left in the property alone under any circumstances.

WIFI: Please note that there is wi-fi at the property for general use - it is not sufficient for downloading and working if you need a lot of data. We are in the Pyrenees and so sometimes the wifi signal is not good - especially if the weather is bad. This has not caused a problem for guests but if you are working and need perfect cover 24/7, the Pyrenees may not the place!

!! IMPORTANT: please note that the apartment is going to be renovated next year. This does mean that the paintwork etc is not perfect and there are some unfinished surfaces, which is why the price has been reduced by one third of the normal price - please bear this in mind when you book - we will ask you to confirm that you understand this. The photos shown are representative of the apartment now and we are happy to send a video if required. Please note there is one main bathroom (bath with overhead handheld shower, sink, no toilet) and one half bathroom that has just a toilet.
