This 1350 square foot family home is comfortable and perfectly located. It is only a couple blocks to the beach or the river. Cape Kiwanda State National Park and Bob Straub State Park are both only a short walk away. Walk to Pelican Pub!

Guests will fall in love with the beauty and charm of Pacific City, a hidden Oregon treasure. There are walking trails in every direction!

Fully enclosed outdoor fence with outdoor shower to remove sand.

This beach town has something for everyone: sand dune's to climb, surfing, boating, horseback riding, tide pools to explore, hiking, kayaking, crabbing, bicycling, bird watching, canoeing, clamming, dining in local restaurants, dory boat watching, Kite flying, hang gliding and paragliding, marine and mammal watching, photography, sand boarding and whale watching. There are shops and a new candy store in town too! Multiple deer families live all over Pacific City; close sightings happened daily. Wild rabbits also frequent the area. Stop and take the time to look at the tide pools/rocks at the base of the sand dune. They are usually alive if you are paying attention!

There’s a brand new skate park in town. Bring your skate boards and scooters. Check it out behind Doryland pizza. Also - this is a surfing town. The water is cold so bring your wet suit!

This home has fully equipped kitchen, patio furniture, charcoal grill, beach toys, and bikes.

There is a Full bathroom and bedroom downstairs.

There's a hidden kids playground at the back of the neighborhood. There is parking in the driveway and also adjacent parking.

The main/master bedroom has a King-sized bed, the second bedroom has a Queen sized bed. The third bedroom has 2 bunk beds, both with a Queen sized bed on the bottom and a Full size bed on the top. This home will comfortably sleep 10 people.

The home has 3 TV's, each with a DVD player. 2 TV's (living room and master) have Netflix. Note: No cable! The home has multiple board games for all ages, children's books, toys and a small play area.

There is a gas fireplace, however propane refill service in this area is sometimes unreliable. Not to worry! The furnace keeps the home warm and cozy. And for those who want a crackling fire to gaze at, we have a fire pit on the patio. Firewood is sold locally.

Please note: this home has an outdoor ring camera system. There is an outdoor camera at the front door. There is also an outdoor camera at the back sliding glass door.

Internet is usually great but it’s a utility and can be affected by wind, weather etc. bring your hot spot just in case!

Great family vacation spot

This home was perfect for our family. Great entertaining space and kid friendly! Everything was very clean and exactly as described. Communication for check in was very good! Really close to beach access and a peaceful area!

Clean and comfortable

Very comfortable, clean and inviting. The kitchen was well equipped. There are two hoses and an outdoor shower. Beach access can be difficult for the elderly to get to due to high sand dune. The hosts are in tune to what people like as there were games, tvs, toys, etc. available.

Wonderful home and location

Beautiful location and home.Perfect for our stay, family reunion with 5 yr old grand who loved everything about the home and the location. She really enjoyed the bunk beds room with the thoughtful toys, games, books and things that were just right for her. Although it rained, it did absolutely not dampen her enthusiasm for the beach and all the activities. And, for us , it was so important that she loved her vacation too. And she did. The owner is the nicest person, easy to communicate with, and that was very much appreciated. Everything was ready for us the minute we got there. Fully equipped kitchen.Highly recommend for families, or anyone wanting a beautiful place to stay in close proximity to the beach.

Wonderful Ocean - Adjacent Property!

We had an amazing two night stay at this house. The owners were very good at communicating and making sure we had what we needed. We especially appreciated the beach gear they had available and the fully-stocked kitchen which allowed us to cook most of our meals. They truly are a short walk to the beach and in a very quiet community. Plentiful coffee sources and local dives to hit up as well. Thank you for an especially enjoyable stay!

Annual beach trip w/ kids

The house was nice. It was our first time staying in Pacific City. We wished there had been more places open to eat later in the evening. It was much more crowded than I had thought it would be.

Beautiful and comfortable house

The house is fantastic family place! I wish it was a little easier to get to the beach. The house had bikes but we have a 4 year old so it was a little tricker. We had a great time!

Family Friendly Stay

We had a great stay. Very short walk to the beach. It was nice to have bikes to use and beach chairs and toys. The kiddos loved the large bunk beds that gave then plenty of space to sleep and hang out. The house was very clean and the kitchen had everything you need to cook. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

Great house. Very clean, enough space to be together or have a little alone time. Easy to get to the beach. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked. Lots of towels and blankets. Would stay here again.

The perfect getaway

This was an amazing house and well furnished for all of our needs. We're two single moms with our combined six children and one dog and there was plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen is the most stock kitchen I've ever had in my vacation rentals. We were able to prepare an entire Thanksgiving dinner with what was supplied. I would definitely come back.

Great cozy house in Pacific City!

We had a wonderful stay at the Buchele house! We had some setbacks with our travel plans due to extreme weather so we chose to arrive late/checkout a little late. The host Elaine was amazing with responsiveness and communication…she went out of her way to put us at ease letting us know the specifics of the house and even hyper-local weather conditions! She was easy to reach when I had a quick random question while in the house too. Everything was very CLEAN (and this is a huge point for me….I was surprised at how many other properties in PC that have bad reviews due to not being properly cleaned after the previous guests’ stay) The house is newer, very cozy, really nice open layout. …we appreciated the Master bedroom (with King bed) on the first floor! There is also a full second bath and two spacious bedrooms on the second floor. Even though it was just my husband and me with our dog, I could see a huge family being quite comfy here. Kitchen was Well stocked with all the basics that we needed to make a really nice 20th anniversary dinner :) It’s a short walk to the beach. This neighborhood (Four Sisters) is easy to find off the town’s main road, yet it’s set back far enough that we never heard any traffic…it was very peaceful. We look forward to coming back someday!

The home was really nice. Very clean and had all the amenities our family needed. The hosts even offered us early check in. We couldn't take advantage but it was nice to have the option. The neighborhood is quiet and beach access is only a short walk away. :)

Great house, close to beach, and extremely responsive owners!

I booked this house with less than 24 hours notice for the owner, Elaine, and she was absolutely fantastic about getting it prepared in time for our last minute vacation! Elaine should run a B&B some day - she's really that helpful and excited for others to enjoy her vacation home and Pacific City as much as she does! The house is very clean and has everything you need. Comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. The beach is a couple easy blocks away. It's not a main public access point so it's nice that it's not crowded like the northern area of the beach. Our dog likes to say hi to everyone so it was great not having tons of people around so we were able to keep him off leash the whole time. We walked to Cape Kiwanda at the northern end of the beach and I was surprised at how crowded it was (for an Oregon beach that is). I was very happy to be on what felt like our own private stretch of beach. Don't hesitate to book this property!

Great place to stay!

We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Pacific City. House is just a short walk to the beach and there are many walking trails to explore. We were able to relax and enjoy time with family. House was clean and had everything the listing indicated. The host was very responsive when we had a question. Definitely recommend and would stay at again if we travel to the area in the future.

We were married right out on the beach near this house. It's a very special home for us.

What makes this property unique

The location is amazing. Everything Pacific City has to offer is within a short walk. We love to salmon fish or take the boat out in the river. We also love to surf and play on the beach. The skate park and tide pools are both favorite activities.
