About this property
The Old Potting Shed - sleeps 2 guests
This charming first floor bolt-hole has been cleverly designed and renovated to provide a compact, but beautifully formed hideaway, within walking distance (half an hour) of all the delights of chocolate box pretty Broadway, and easy driving distance of the iconic villages and towns of the North Cotswolds.
The Old Potting Shed is accessed via a few external steps which lead up to your own delightful outdoor terrace for enjoying the sunshine surrounded by the calming flora and fauna. Turn the key and step through the stable door into the living area, flooded with natural daylight through the roof light window, with a cosy love-seat to cuddle up on; a foldable dining table, to maximise space when not in use; and a kitchen complete with fridge, combination microwave and a small hob. The living space opens through into the bedroom with a generous super-king size bed, which can be set up as twin singles if required. Another roof light bathes the space in light during the day with a built-in blind for an undisturbed night's sleep. An oak latch door leads through to the en-suite shower room with extra storage and clothes hanging space tucked behind.
Situated at Gorsehill Abbey Farm, a family run working dairy farm situated between Broadway and Willersey, producing organic milk and the popular award winning delicious ice cream. Pop in to the farm shop where you can purchase their milk, ice cream and other local products. You can even make your own shake with their milk dispenser!
Located a 5 minute drive from picturesque Broadway, The Old Potting Shed is an idyllic romantic hideaway for two. Ideal for ramblers, with The Cotswolds Way and Broadway Tower on the doorstep, and footpaths from the farm take you straight into Broadway with its superb selection of shopping and eating out. Chipping Campden, Burford and Stratford-upon-Avon are just a few of the many nearby fascinating and historical places to visit when staying at The Old Potting Shed.
