Home on Richmond Lake. This is the bottom unit. Two bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a twin and queen. Kitchen area, living room and bathroom Private entrance with wii fii and cable. Lake access for swimming and fishing. Dock is provided if you decided to bring a boat or pontoon. Located just six miles northwest of Aberdeen, SD on Richmond Lake. Our location makes a quick and easy drive from Aberdeen to relax and enjoy a beautiful Richmond Lake. Nearby location to hiking trails, fishing, disc golf course, snowmobile trials, ice fishing and within minutes of Storybook Land and Wylie Park.**summer of 2026–this summer the lake is undergoing a rebuilding of a spillway- I am not sure if water will be in the bay to swim or fish**

The home was immaculate. Every thing you would need was provided. Great value for your money. The view of the sunrise over the lake was spectacular. The location was convenient to town and areas to hunt pheasant. The owners were very nice and accommodating.

Nice place on the lake

Relaxing time here right on the lake. Close by to area activities for families. Great swimming and fishing spot. Beautiful view while enjoying smores on the lake. Would book again.

Concerns: The entrance with snow/ice wasn't safe No 3 qt pot to cook potatoes and pasta the second night

I am sorry that you felt the entrance wasn’t safe but salt was put down and it wasn’t enough to shovel until later in the day after you had checked out. As far as the crockpot, if things were not working please advise me right away as I live right next to the property and can change things out.

Excellent lake side visit

This was the perfect spot to just relax, sit by the lake and we even caught a few fish off the dock. The pictures showed exactly what we were renting. One of the stones on the path was loose and wonky. So we had to be careful not to fall. We loved our stay and will book again for sure.

Perfect for our weekend with family!

We enjoyed our stay

This is a downstairs apartment, and the noise from upstairs was not a highlight. We heard footsteps and conversations from the upstairs renters throughout our stay. I don't think they were especially noisy - the place is just not well insulated from noise. It was adequately clean, but needed a good dusting, and the outside tables, chairs and grill were really dirty. The owner was really great to work with and answered our questions immediately.

I knew before booking that there was an upstairs and downstairs unit, and if you booked the downstairs unit you ran the risk of noise. The group above us had toddlers, so there was a lot of typical toddler activity. There is not a lot of soundproofing, so the running back and forth of the children was rather loud. Fortunately, our normal living situation is below an extremely inconsiderate, loud young man, so we weren't bothered by it. I did misunderstand the seclusion of the lake view. From the available property photos, I assumed there was more privacy than there actually was. It was still very nice. My husband and I read a lot, and we were able to sit peacefully by the water and read. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed for a stay-in weekend. It was very nice and enjoyable, just a few things to keep in mind.

A wonderful time.

Just two of us stayed at the residence. It was clean and perfect for a short stay. Big Living area and bathroom with two bedrooms. The kitchen was functional and had most of the things we needed. We cooked a chuck roast in the provided crock pot and went to make mashed potatoes and needed a bigger pan to boil potatoes, but made due. The location was beautiful by the lake and the dock was perfect for my pontoon. We caught more fish off the dock than we did on the boat out in the lake. We released all the fish. We had a great time of fishing and golf in Aberdeen, SD! We will do it again.
