Southbourne beach is a 5-minute stroll away, via the Fisherman’s Walk zig-zag path or a 2-minute trip on the funicular railway. Southbourne Town centre is a short (5/10 min) stroll offering a great selection of restaurants and bars. Walking either way along the Promenade you can easily reach Boscombe Pier (30/40 mins) or Hengistbury Head (50/60 mins). The apartment is centrally placed to drive out to Christchurch, Bournemouth, Poole and the New Forest, making this a fabulous base for exploring the region.

The flat itself is an impressive two-bedroom apartment on the seafront within a 2020 purpose-built block of six. A bright hallway entrance leads to open plan living / dining and kitchen areas. The living area has comfortable seating for 4 and access through the glazed sliding doors to the balcony with stunning sea views. Fully fitted, well-equipped contemporary kitchen with breakfast bar island, seating four. Kitchen appliances include electric oven, 4 ring electric hob and extractor hood, fridge / freezer, dishwasher and microwave, kettle, toaster and microwave and washer / dryer machine. Master bedroom (with 6ft super-king bed) benefits from a corner sea view and access to the balcony, fitted wardrobes, ensuite with walk-in shower (rain-bar plus handheld shower), sink and toilet. Second bedroom (with king-size bed) with fitted wardrobes. Family bathroom with bath, shower plus handheld shower, sink and toilet.

Parking - one allocated space within the development's private parking area at the rear of the block. Additional unrestricted on-street parking for further cars is available nearby.

Services - duvets and linen, bath and beach towels provided. Central heating. Hairdryers.

Technology - 50-inch Smart flatscreen television with Freeview. WIFI.

Restrictions - No smoking. No candles, no hanging of clothes/towels on balconies. Pets not permitted.

Same-day bookings can be accepted if received before 6pm (4pm on Sundays), when our office closes. Arrivals out of office hours can be organised if requests are received before 6pm (4pm on Sundays).

The Neighborhood:
Southbourne is a popular, mature and family-friendly suburb east of Bournemouth boasting a safe, sandy blue-flag beach accessed via the zig-zagging Fisherman’s Walk nature trail, or the Cliff Lift which operates from Easter until October. Parking is available on Southbourne Overcliff and local cafes, kiosks and pubs offer a range of refreshments. Brightly-coloured beach huts on the promenade are available to rent through BCP Tourism. A short distance to the east, Hengistbury Head offers fabulous walking routes through the dunes, along the coast and around the nature reserve with stunning views towards The Needles and the Isle of Wight. A gently sloping path brings walkers to the western mouth of Christchurch Harbour opposite Mudeford Quay, where the Beach House restaurant offers laid-back lunchtime dining in picturesque surroundings. An evening stroll inland to Southbourne Grove provides multiple opportunities to enjoy quality food and beverage outlets with a range of artisan restaurants, bars, microbreweries and coffee shops and the main centres of Bournemouth and Christchurch offering theatres, shopping and concert venues, are just a short drive away.
