The house is an antique summer cottage that we take great care in maintaining. The eat in kitchen is fully equipped and the cabinets are two years old. Had the renter told us about broken furniture we would have fixed it. This is the only renter who has raised these issues.

We have owned the property for two years and have just completed our second rental season. We already have a number of families who are returning next year. We have gotten accolades from the families who rented before we purchased the property and during the last two seasons. Any concerns raised by the renters have been promptly addressed. We inspect the property between rentals and have the property professional cleaned weekly. We have received no complaints about the cleanliness of the property. The cabinets are thoroughly cleaned at the beginning of the season and are emptied between rentals and we have received no complaints about the cleanliness of the kitchen. A skilled technician checked and repaired all windows and screens prior to the start of the rental season. Any concerns such as torn screens that might have been missed on inspection are promptly repaired when brought to our attention. The next renters, following the renters who wrote the review, told us about a broken screen and we repaired it the same day. Had these renters told us that there were maintenance issues, we would have addressed them immediately. We regret that they had concerns, which they did not bring to our attention so that we could have made their stay more pleasant. We do limit 3 parking to three vehicles. This is clearly stated in the lease and explained in advance to the renters. These renters understood and agreed to the three-car limit but repeatedly violated it. We have lived next door to the rental property for over 31 years and are not accustomed to hearing noise from the beach at night. In the rare instance where there is noise, the police address the issue promptly. The house is situated at the entrance to Good Harbor Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the United States. We love living here and take great pleasure in sharing this gem with families.
