About this property
Magical holiday for kids and adults
Welcome to this 104 m² holiday home with 3 bedrooms, sleeping 7 guests. The ground floor offers an open living area with dining space and seating, perfect for spending time together.
Bedroom layout: Bedroom 1 has a 160×200 double bed and a child’s travel cot with a 70×140 mattress. Bedroom 2 has a double sofa bed (140×200 when unfolded; a topper is stored in the compartment) and a high bunk bed 90×200. Bedroom 3 has a 180×200 box-spring bed. There are duvets and pillows for 7 people, but no baby duvet/pillow.
The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and shared meals. The child-friendly outdoor area features a fire pit, trampoline, sandbox with toys, and a play set with swings and a slide. Indoors you’ll find a changing table, baby bathtub, high chair and toys for the little ones, as well as plenty of board games.
Just 150 metres from the door is a family-friendly bathing beach with shallow areas and soft sand, plus a bathing jetty. Within walking distance there’s a quiet forest area with trails for cycling and walking. At Hvalpsund harbour (1,500 m) you can rent kayaks, paddle boards and bicycles in the summer season. The harbour’s large, well-equipped playground is free to use all year. At the nearby Hvalpsund Familie Camping you can rent transparent kayaks in summer to view life beneath the water’s surface. There is also a free nature centre with waders and various outdoor/nature equipment. The surroundings invite birdwatching and foraging for oysters and blue mussels. Fishing permits for a nearby put-and-take lake can be purchased in the campsite shop, which also sells ice cream. Day passes for the playground with a jumping pillow and for the outdoor pool can also be bought at the campsite.
Cosy cafés and farm shops offer local specialties. The area lends itself to windsurfing, boating and fishing. Cycling routes lead to an 18-hole golf course (9-hole pay-and-play) and colourful flea markets. Nature changes with the seasons, offering rich bird and wildlife experiences. Families appreciate the safe, calm environment year-round.
The holiday home can be rented all year and is ideal for families and friends seeking both activity and peace. Book a weekend or a longer stay and experience everything the area has to offer. Note: Not for commercial rental.
