About this property
18 century cottage nr Harry Potter Studios, London & Luton Airport. Pet friendly
Our house was once the village shop and blacksmiths before converting into one family home. It has original beams and lead windows (double glazed) and a wood burning stove. We have ample garden space at the back of the house with a sun trap patio and off road parking for 2 cars. We are close to the M1, a 10 minute drive from the train station that runs direct trains into Central London, and a 15 minute drive from Luton Airport. We are surrounded by countryside making it a peaceful place to relax but close enough to everything you might need!

About the host
Your host
John and I hailed from different ends of the globe (Inner Hebrides and Australia) before meeting and settling in London where we raised our two boys initially before moving to our dream home in the countryside. We wanted a house that could tell a story and would create cherished memories for our children. The house is perfect for endless hours of hide and seek!
Why they chose this property
The location is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by countryside that is perfect for long dog walks. The house is cosy with a huge garden to enjoy. Being away from a bustling town and city gave us quality family time but proximity to shops and entertainment (leisure centre, swimming pool, cinema) when we wanted it. The best of both worlds!
What makes this property unique
There are very few houses like this and it has been important to use that any renovations have been done with the utmost care so as to preserve the integrity of the house. We have used specialist builders whom we trust to be sympathetic to the age and history of the house.
