EasyLife was a great host. We would definitely stay at another EasyLife property. This rental is in the heart of the Brera area of Milan. This area has lots of great restaurants, shopping and great gelato!!! This apartment also is close to the Sforza Castle and the Duomo. We had some hot water issues but EasyLife came through and got these issues resolved. Great place to stay and wonderful hosts.
The room is in a superb location. A taxi rank is nearby and the pedestrian street ensures it's also quiet. Wifi is great. The accommodation was clean and very good with all amenities provided. Our check in was a poor process because we were given incorrect instructions on the app, and it required intervention from the local manager and a helpful assistant turning up with the keys, but it meant we stood outside for over an hour waiting for assistance.
AVOID THIS PLACE. The check-in instructions were completely incorrect, giving us an entry system that does not exist. After arriving and trying to access the apartment, we quickly realized we were locked out with no clear solution. The listed phone number was out of service, and the WhatsApp support was an endless loop of repeated questions with no actual progress. At that point, we genuinely thought we had been scammed. Ironically, a local security guard ended up being more helpful than the host. He explained that this situation happens every week with guests trying to get in. Even neighbors came over, already familiar with the issue. That alone should tell you everything. After waiting over an hour on the street, someone finally arrived and no apology, no acknowledgment he simply handed us a key. A key that we had absolutely no way of accessing based on the original instructions as he had to bring it to us. As for the apartment itself: Water with a distinct egg-like smell, Bathroom with no basic setup (toilet paper on the floor, no holder, nowhere to place anything), Empty soap dispenser, Shower door that doesn’t close, flooding the bathroom, Extremely dark interiorr, Bed that is both uncomfortable and loudly creaky, Two pillows total, No shampoo or conditioner, Noticeable humidity and lingering odor, Floors that felt sticky and dusty. It looks nothing like the photos. We changed to a hotel after and lost our money.
