This cabin was the perfect little retreat for our family. When it came to communication, Dustin was absolutely amazing. This Cabin was definitely one of my favorite VRBOs we’ve rented as a family. There were endless things to do that kept us busy, but watching March Madness was amazing in the theatre room. Took a trip down memory lane with darts, shuffle board, pool and video-gaming.The ONLY thing missing was higher water levels in Lake Douglas, but I can’t hold anyone responsible for that. Thank you Dustin for all your help and for providing an amazing stay in a beautiful cabin.
This cabin was perfect. All we needed to bring was essentials and food. The cabin is huge!!! Room for the family. Lots of games for everyone. So much to see and do in the area. Very close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Very remote so if you want away from your busy life this cabin is perfect. I would definitely recommend.
Property is in decent shape and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The view is perfect with sunrise and sunsets visible from the back deck. Swim in the lake, fish from the dock, relax on the decks, and play games with the family. All in a stress free rental.
The house was perfect for our family. The kids loved the air hockey, pool table, shuffleboard table, and the theater. The view of the lake was gorgeous and we spent several days kayaking and floating around in the lake. Close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Highly recommend this house.
We had such a wonderful stay! So much to do and no one was ever bored!! The theater room was the biggest hit amongst our teens. We would definitely come back!
We had plenty of space for everyone and the house was absolutely beautiful!! The view overlooking the lake was amazing! The only downfall I had was the walk to the dock as it was a little steep for some of the older people traveling with us. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely book again.
Family of 10 with age range from 4 to 68. There was something here for everyone. The owners are very helpful and keep the property very clean. We all had a great time and would definitely stay here again!
We had 14 friends/family staying in this house and it was plenty enough room. The kids and adults enjoyed it. We originally booked it for 6 nights but ended up extending our stay for 8 nights! The owner was very responsive and kept in touch throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this house for a big family going!
There was a total of 12 of us (4kids) staying in this cabin and we never heard the famous "I'm bored". There are so many options for entertainment, it is very spacious, the kitchen was a bit tight but functional and well equipped, we basically cooked every day. The views are Amazing! love all the balconies, the fire pit, the movie room and the game room. The house is relatively close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The street to get to the house has a lot of twist and turns, ups and downs but overall the whole area is beautiful. Communication with property manager was excellent. Highly recommended, we would definitely stay here again!
Property Manager: From Day 1, Dustin was absolutely the best! Essy communication and quick responses.
Cabin: The views are breathtaking! The Cabin was perfect for our family. Kids stays in the amazing gameroom. It was big enough for the boys to play pool and our sweet girls to play Barbie’s without any of them being in each others way( The play tunnel was a huge hit for them also). My favorite was the movie room, OMGOSH!!! Need peace and quiet or a quick nap ( that’s the room). The kitchen was everything my mom needed to cook and celebrate Thanksgiving. The men enjoyed the deck while cooking, hanging out and enjoying the warmth from the fireplace!! We never felt on top of each other. Our sleeping opportunities were more than enough, there were so many options lol The kids picked out a new place to crash every night haha Bathroom space didn’t disappoint us either. I can’t say enough of good things about our stay!!! Don’t hesitate to rent, I promise you will be thankful.

Fun
Loved everything, house could use a little TLC! Fireplaces didn’t work and had to get maintenance people out for the hot tub. But other than that it was a nice stay!
We never even had to leave the property. It has so much to do for everyone! Awesome theatre, game room, fire pit, lake access with floats. Was an amazing time.
My only issue is there’s a nail that sticks up on the stairs and the dock had some loose boards and screws sticking up that we had to be careful around. If those got fixed, this would be an absolutely perfect place.
Well kept, clean had everything we needed in a kitchen for the most part. The hook is on its no joke though, tiring going up and down. We throughly enjoyed our stay.
The poor review is for being charged $500 for a broken recliner that was previously broke.Upon arrival (415pm.check in4pm) our cleaner stated she needed 45 minutes to clean. unfortunate events lead her cleaning this 3 story rental by herself .we noticed many things fallen apart” “broken (chairs,Nintendo /windows/ balcony banister, ripped pool tableStove buttons etc.Owner stated to send pics. individuals took a level) he was unaware of them. Also garbage can full of bags (leave garbage you will be charged additional 20$ per bag) Upon leavingwith our garbage in tow. We received notice 2 weeks later of the charge .many attempted conversations on why not responsible. My nephew who took pics heard chairs.took pics of the lower level he didn’t hear recliner. So we did not send a pic)the owner stated no pic our responsibility. He also stated like a “car rental “we should have looked and verified all pics and items were found. He also stated The cleaner her husband and sister are in charge of the unit. She”cleaner”also stated the recliner was not broke during her cleaning .She also forgot dirty kids clothes (shorts Bathsuit bottom and panties left) food left in the “child’s play fridge ) obviously things were missed .to be honest i just think they are predator renters obviously old furniture and instead of putting money back into their property they blame tenants and pass cost to them .Regardless it’s paid.I want the next renter to beware.
This house is amazing! The movie room had a wide array of available DVDs. The game room had something for everyone. The lake views and lake access are perfect. The kitchen has everything thing you need. The location was perfect. The best of both worlds... secluded lake front or just a 30 minutes away from Gatlinburg. Best VRBO house so far!
We enjoyed the lake front property. The house was very clean and had a lot of games ( pool, air hockey, darts) for rainy days.
It was close enough to enjoy Gatlinburg and the Smokey mountains too!
This place dosnt disappoint great view from almost every room enough entertainment to keep whole family entertained and the best stocked kitchen I have seen able to cook for our big family!

Beautiful View
The home is beautiful. We arrived an hour later, at 5:00pm, for check in and the cleaning staff was still there. She had informed us that the place was left in a “disaster” by previous renters. She packed up and left; however, there was still a lot of cleaning left to do. The porches were not cleaned at all. Dishwasher full of dishes. Trash was just left on the furniture, under the furniture. I sent some pictures to the owner. Eventually, I just started taking pictures and saved so we wouldn’t be held accountable for anything or any of the broken items. Just for date, time, and proof on my end. The homeowner responded quickly & was apologetic.
The home has so much potential to be amazingly beautiful. I am someone who looks at cleanliness. Other than that, we loved the area! We still had a lot of fun. It took all I could to not clean up but I didn’t go on vacation to clean.
The view looking out over Douglas Lake is mesmerizing. A view I hope to never forget!
The inside if the house was a blast. We had some electrical issues in one of the bedrooms but the host was quick to reply!
My issue was how STEEP the backyard is. It was difficult to get to the water. To get our pedal boat and kayaks down was an exhausting process. The dam had the water low so we u derstood that, but the dock and rocks were cumbersome as well.
We booked for the ability to get to the water but it was so difficult.
Close to the city and the grocery, we had fun, and enjoyed our stay.
