Our stay at the Painters House was lovely! Very homey feeling, the photos don’t do the property justice. Many windows with bright light, we enjoyed opening the windows to get a nice breeze! The property had all of the amenities we needed - fully stocked kitchen, extra toiletries, extra pillows and blankets and more. The bus is just a short 2 block walk, but we took the metro most of the time which was about a 5-7 minute walk. There’s plenty of places to eat nearby and grocery and convenience stores as well. We stayed here with 5 people, including 2 younger kids, and felt like we had plenty of space. We felt very safe/secure at the property, if the doorman isn’t there, the front is locked (you’ll have keys to access). We also loved the 1900s elevator—so cute! The Host had great communication as well as the doorman who got us checked in. Thank you for such a wonderful stay in Roma!
