About this property

Relax, Unwind and Reset in our Countryside retreat. Family and Pet Friendly!

Welcome to Hilmarton Manor!
Our home is a place to unwind and relax, offering a range of facilities to include - a bar, gym (with Peloton bike and running machine) cinema room, hot tub and sauna along with our natural swimming pond.
Each area of the house has been carefully designed to offer luxury whist feeling homely.
With two lounge areas, a breakfast room, formal dining room and large kitchen area, there will have plenty of space and something for everyone!
Working from home - not a problem! We have two separate office areas that can be used both with WiFi for those Zoom calls!
If you are with us during the warmer months why not sleep under the stars with our outdoor bedroom (available on request) or wander through the walled garden to pick some fruit and veg and cook up a feast on the outdoor kitchen where you will find a hob, pizza oven and Big Green Egg to your disposal.
The house is easy to use with an app system for all the outdoor lighting, cinema and sound system - instructions to be found in the house manual on arrival.
Yoga, Pilates, Gong Sound journeys, Reiki healing, massages and private chefs can be arranged on request at an additional cost payable to the service provider.
There are two award winning country pubs less than 5 minutes drive away offering lovely food and great hospitality - The Duke in Hilmarton and The White Horse, Compton Basset. An array of country walks right on the doorstep - recommended walks and hike routes given in the house manual.
Places of interest to visit include: Avebury, Lacock, Silbury Hill, Marlborough and Royal Wotton Basset.
Picturesque Castle Coombe is 30 minutes away by car.
For those wanting to go further afield, Chippenham train station is a 15- 20 minute drive with trains to London Paddington in an hour, Bath 10 minutes and Bristol 30 minutes away.

What makes this property unique

Built in 1820, originally a hunting lodge - this property oozes period features with a modern twist! Spacious but homely with all the amenities to make this a truly unique stay. The outdoor kitchen space is the perfect setting for friends and family to gather, located near the bar for those sundowner drinks!
The cinema room is the height of comfort, ready to watch your favourite films.
Our gym has all the equipment you would expect whilst working out with a view over the natural swimming pond.
Why not take a book and chill in the walled garden where you will find a mass of flowers blooming in the spring and summer months as well as our well cared for vegetable and fruit patch where guests can help themselves to our home produce.
Relax at the end of the day with a sauna and hot tub to ease the days tension and reset!
