Clean rooms and family-friendly place. Host was easy to reach and replies to the messages quickly. Enjoyed the stay and would recommend to anyone who enjoys the beautiful mountain view.

Overwhelming musty smell upon arrival. Mold in the bathroom. VRBO Care only kicks in once you speak to someone on the phone, we ended up booking a hotel stay instead because the smell was too much for my lungs, I was coughing uncontrollably despite staying outside as long as possible. Host initially responsive to our problem but no solutions (probably AI assistance for immediate responses). After 2 hours of seeking help from the host and VRBO Customer Service, we left, did not stay the night. 18 hours later we are told by the host there is nothing they can do for us, thank goodness we were already out. Now working with VRBO Care from home to sort this mess out. Anywhere that requires extensive ventilation and 3 dehumidifier machines is probably not suitable for any length of stay.

The property has good potential. The location is beautiful, but it is quite remote and almost at the edge of the village, making a car essential. Unfortunately, the property itself has significant maintenance issues, and the lack of support from the host was extremely disappointing. During our six-day stay, we repeatedly contacted the host and requested assistance, asking for someone to inspect and resolve the problems, but no one was ever sent. The main issues included: * The stovetop was not working, preventing us from preparing meals. * A dryer was listed as an amenity and was one of the main reasons we booked this property, but no dryer was available. * There were not enough towels and basic supplies for four guests, including toilet paper, kitchen towels, paper towels, garbage bags, and sufficient cutlery. * No window screens resulted in a significant insect problem. * Door handles and locks repeatedly came loose, including the bathroom door, making it difficult to properly close some doors. * The shower is extremely small and leaks heavily. The most disappointing part was the host’s response. Despite multiple requests, we received only generic and unhelpful replies without any meaningful attempt to resolve the issues. The property has clear potential, but in its current condition it requires substantial maintenance, repairs, and much better guest support before it can be considered a satisfactory place to stay.
