It was a nice place to stay as it was close to the train station with free parking. Some suggestions for improvements are: instructions for locking back door, a coffee maker, and a dishwasher.

The house could have been cleaner and there were several broken items. The shower head was held together by a plastic bag, the radiator in one of the rooms was stuck in the on position, there was no room in the trash bins to add trash. There also was no dryer (not sure if I misunderstood laundry facilities), and nowhere to hang our wet towels after showers, the house looked like it was haunted with 8 peoples clothes and wet towels hung everywhere.

Lovely accommodation but the WiFi is not strong enough to work with

The beds were of hotel quality, The service was exceptional whenever I needed any assistance. It’s really close for shops and only 15 minutes from Edinburgh

Very Disappointing StayUnfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing. We booked through Vrbo to spend quality time together as a family, but the property fell well below expectations.The house was not adequately equipped for eight people. There were insufficient dining chairs and space for everyone to sit together, as well as inadequate sofa seating. There was not enough crockery, cutlery or kitchen utensils to prepare meals for eight.Basic essentials were lacking: no hand towels, just one tea towel and only one bin bag. The kitchen appeared unfinished, with a missing kickboard and a large gap where the white goods should have been. The sink would not hold water, and there was no washing-up basin, making washing dishes difficult.The downstairs bathroom was mouldy, and the shower was unclean. Upstairs, the shower drain was so clogged with hair that we had to remove the blockage ourselves to allow the water to drain properly.We were also concerned that the fire alarm testing appeared incomplete.We did not expect luxury, but we did expect a clean, well-maintained property with adequate facilities for the number of guests advertised.Overall, the house was poorly prepared and unsuitable for a comfortable family stay. What should have been a relaxing weekend together was overshadowed by numerous avoidable problems. We were extremely disappointed and would not recommend.
