Please fix the blinds especially in the lounge room. Wood in stove are not suitable for burning. Inability to close windows is a challenge especially as weather was quite cool. Very bad back stairs that are not suitable for use. House clean overall. Beds are comfortable.

The house is good for a larger group of people , it’s pretty quiet which is good. It is an older house and is a little rundown on the outside. We had a hard time getting in once we arrived as I never received the code for the lockbox to retrieve the keys. I tried to contact the host multiple times leading up to the check in and after wards but I never heard back. Luckily for us a back door was left unlocked so we were able to gain entry in the end.

This interesting house accommodates 10 as suggested, linen and towels were of a good standard and bathrooms (3) of a high standard. Seating was inadequate, one tv with wifi, no seating downstairs or equipment in separate kitchenette , laundry off garage ok . Location central -the only accommodation found for 10.

The house was clean, tidy and warm. Furniture left a lot to be desired. Red couch too low to the ground. There aren’t enough casual sitting chairs in Lounge room and tv room. House has been partially renovated and acceptable but could be improved a lot. Very 60’s.

A disappointment

The property looked good in the photos but the reality was much poorer. Shoddy renovations, insufficient and inadequate lounge room furnishings, windows that wouldn't open, unkempt exterior. We won't be back.

The house sleeps 10 people comfortably. However it is very poorly managed. Impossible to contact anyone for support as the Belvilla organisation is based in Europe and doesnt respond to email enquiries. And no provisions supplied in the home: we had to purchase dish washing detergent, dishwasher capsules, toilet paper, tissues, paper towel, pegs for washing line. Other essentials not provided include tin opener, spatula, plastic cling wrap, wooden spoon, adequate tea towels. The batteries in the air con remotes were flat. The house is also in a state of disrepair, the dining room chairs are dangerous as the seats are loose from the chair legs. The outdoor furniture is missing cushions. For the amount we paid to hire this home we expected better quality.

An older spacious house with shortcuts in its renovations. The beds were comfortable and appropriate linen etc. The grounds were overgrown and the brick path dangerous. Someone had locked the front door flyscreen from the inside but no key for it. Luckily we found a side door we could open with the given keys. Would be good to have labeled keys and check that locks are able to be unlocked with given keys. There was a wood fire loaded with wood and wood in a basket by the side of it. But the firebox appeared locked. After we inquired we were told it appeared not part of the amenities and if we used it we would be charged 500. The price on Stayz was quoted and charged in Euros which is not usual for Australian properties. Probably the owners live overseas and may not be aware of how the property is being managed. There was ample crockery and utensils but saucepan lids didn’t fit. There were coffee pods but no coffee machine. There were a few somewhat old tea bags and some long life milk in the fridge. The fridge was a good size, as was the toaster. There was olive oil, salt and pepper in the kitchen but nothing to put left overs into. There was one less chair than in photos and seating in the lounge were so low they were very difficult to get in and out of. A small table in photos had a broken leg, and one bedside lamp was broken.It was a very cold night and we finally got the individual room reverse cycle air conditioners working to warm the house and keep it warm.

Our group had a good, comfortable stay here.It served its purpose as we were staying for work.Not too far from the cbd but far enough away to be in a nice quiet neighbourhood.We did have a lot of trouble accessing the property as we were never sent the code for the lock box and got not response from the host or the property management.Luckily the back door was left unlocked.

Das Haus bietet ausreichend Platz für 10 Personen und ist sauber, allerdings sind die Einrichtungen mangelhaft und ich habe keinerlei Unterstützung von der Gastgeberorganisation erhalten. Als ich nach fehlenden Dingen fragte, z. B. Wäscheklammern für die Wäscheleine, wurde uns gesagt, wir sollten diese selbst kaufen. Wir mussten Toilettenpapier, Taschentücher, Küchenpapier, Tee, Kaffee und Zucker selbst besorgen. Zu den defekten Möbeln gehören eine Nachttischlampe, ein fehlender Abflussstopfen, Stuhlsitze, die gefährlich locker von den Stuhlbeinen hängen, fehlende Kissen bei den Gartenmöbeln und kaputte Jalousien. Offenbar wird das Haus schlecht geführt.
