About this property
2 Bed in Betws Y Coed (oc-wag474)
This traditional Welsh cottage is right in the heart of Betws-y-Coed - known as the gateway to Eryri - Snowdonia – and, as expected, you’ll have a fantastic range of walks, cycle trails, and outdoor activities on your doorstep. The property sleeps three guests and suits both couples and small families. After a day of adventure, return to your cute cottage to dine in the private garden overlooking the valley.
The semi-detached cottage is made from local stone and has a slate roof. The property is simply but comfortably furnished throughout. The bright lounge/diner has a dining table and seating to relax on after a long walk, to chat about your day or watch TV. The basic kitchen is a joy to cook in, thanks to its lovely garden views, and also has a little breakfast table where you can sit with a morning coffee. Upstairs, via the open plan stairs, is a single and a double bedroom, along with a small shower room, which round off the accommodation. Outside, you’ll find a heated utility room, which is perfect for storing bikes or drying your outdoor gear. An private, enclosed garden provides the ideal spot for al fresco dining on the patio, surrounded by breath taking scenery.
Betws-y-Coed has a distinct alpine vibe, surrounded by mountains and the dense Gwydyr Forest. Walkers and climbers will be in their element here, you are just a short drive from the paths up Yr Wyddfa- Snowdon, and you can also get the heart racing on a visit to Zip World Fforest, just 2 miles away. After an action-packed day, refuel in one of the village’s cosy pubs or bistros, which serve a delicious range of locally-sourced food. Further afield, the vibrant town of Conwy is 15.5 miles away, with its medieval castle, bustling quay and marina, and fantastic collection of independent shops and eateries.
