About this property

5 Bed in Hanworth Common (oc-1650)

Sitting on the fringe of Hanworth Common, this stunning, detached home provides an ideal base for a get-together with family and friends. Sleeping up to ten people, the open-plan living areas are perfect for entertaining or simply relaxing together. Gather in the warmth of the wood burner inside, or dine alfresco in the large garden, watching the cows wander by in the adjacent field.

Make yourselves at home in the open-plan living space, which comprises a lounge, kitchen, dining room, and garden room. After a delicious meal prepared in the kitchen, you can relax on the comfortable seating in the lounge to watch a film on the Smart TV/DVD – on colder evenings, the glow of the wood burner adds a cosy atmosphere. Alternatively, you can escape to the garden room and unwind with a paperback from the bookshelf. Also on the ground floor is a super-king-size zip-and-link bedroom and an adjacent wet room. Upstairs, there are four bedrooms and a family bathroom. Outside, a large, enclosed garden is ideal for children, with a raised decking area complete with outdoor furniture. Take a seat and enjoy the views over the open field.

Just 6.5 miles away, the 18th-century town of Aylsham presents a charming marketplace, excellent for picking up regional produce through its lively farmers' market. You could also jump aboard a steam train here and enjoy a memorable journey to Wroxham (17 miles) on the Bure Valley line. Alternatively, venture 8.5 miles east to the golden sands of Mundesley and delight in its coastal walks, colourful beach huts and wide beach.
