About this property
3 Bed in Dunwich (oc-slh)
This fabulous property, situated in the charming coastal village of Dunwich just 350 metres from the beach, is the perfect bolthole for anyone looking to enjoy a bit of luxury on their seaside holiday. Sleeping six across three beautifully-decorated bedrooms, this property is ideal for families or groups of friends to get together to explore the stunning Suffolk coast. Spend sunny evenings out in the garden, sizzling up a BBQ and watching the children play on the lawn.
The holiday home has a gorgeous traditional brick exterior but a contemporary style inside that everyone will fall in love with. The open-plan living area is flooded with light thanks to large patio doors that look out onto the marshes; sit on the sofa here in the morning and take in the views. You can still get cosy though – snuggle up in front of the TV and ornamental fireplace in the lounge and watch your favourite film. Upstairs, three fantastic bedrooms await; the king-size room is the one to nab with its superb glass doors that you can throw open and stand at the Juliet balcony. Each room has its own unique style but all promote a good night’s sleep with calming pastel and grey tones.
Join The King Charles III coastal path, which runs past the front door, and explore the coastline of Dunwich and beyond. Make sure you visit Dunwich Heath (2 miles) and RSPB Minsmere (4.5 miles) where you’re bound to spot birds such as the Dartford warbler and the woodlark. Popular Southwold (9 miles) is a must-visit; take an invigorating speed boat trip on the Coastal Voyager or try the bizarre amusements at the Under the Pier Show. Hire canoes, kayaks or paddleboards from Iken Canoe (16 miles), or stroll the grounds of Framlingham Castle (16 miles) if you prefer being on dry land. And don’t forget Africa Alive Zoological Reserve (13.5 miles) that the kids will love.
