A charming 18th-century cottage set in undulating countryside 5.5 miles from Aldeburgh, one of the most colourful seaside towns in the Suffolk Coast & Heaths AONB. The dog-friendly cottage offers families and small groups cosy living areas, a landscaped garden and easy access to attractions along the coast and surrounding countryside.


With exposed ceiling beams and wooden frames surrounding contemporary soft furnishings in spacious rooms, your new home-from-home will make a huge first impression with so much within a few paw prints on two floors. Stream your favourite programmes in the sitting room while the dogs sleep by the wood burner, or chew the fat with foodies in the kitchen while they create indulgent dishes for family and friends. You can also make clothes as good as new in the utility room and even freshen up in the nearby shower room. Choose between the king-size bedroom or the zip-and-link super-king-size bedroom on the first floor. Both bedrooms have a comforting charm and easy access to the family bathroom. Head out into the landscaped gardens on warmer days for alfresco brunches, dog-friendly children’s games and evening cocktails.


Feel free to go for a walk along the lanes and footpaths that surround the cottage, taking in the scenic countryside along the way. Shop, eat and be entertained in Snape (1.5 miles), a picturesque village on the banks of River Alde, which winds its way towards Aldeburgh (5.5 miles). There are dog-friendly pubs and cafes throughout this colourful seaside town, which is separated from the North Sea by a sand and shingle beach. Dogs can get sand between their paws all year round on Sizewell Beach (6.5 miles).
