About this property
3 Bed in Machynlleth (oc-bow306)
This charming property, which has a mix of period and modern features throughout, is a renovated farmhouse that's set in its own grounds and boasts extensive countryside views. There are two gardens here giving you plenty of space outside for you to relax and enjoy the calmness that surrounds you. It's a perfect location for couples, families or multi-generation groups who are dreaming of a peaceful break to forget about busy lives but with plenty of places to visit nearby for those wanting to do some exploring while staying in this beautiful part of Wales. The property itself is well equipped and very spacious with attractive bedrooms of considerable size, two of which has views overlooking the valley. It also has an impressively large kitchen with no shortage of storage space, great for the chefs in the group, a comfortable living room bringing in enough natural lighting, and a separate sitting/games room as an extra bonus. Pwllglas is a well presented holiday home that you're bound to fall in love with.
At Pwllglas, located near the small village of Penegoes, you will get the best of both worlds - quiet countryside and great views of the lovely green hills from the property, and the coast within half an hour away where you'll find the picturesque village of Aberdyfi with its glorious sandy beach and outstanding scenery. 3 miles from the property is the welcoming market town of Machynlleth where you'll find all amenities including a small supermarket and a few pubs/restaurants. The weekly market is held on the main street every Wednesday and is a very popular one so be sure to go for a wander round the stalls by the Victorian clock tower and appreciate what the friendly locals has to offer. The town also has some wonderful independent shops that offers local crafts, cafes and some galleries such as The Museum of Modern Art. The town is full of history and a great place to visit to learn about some of it is The Owain Glyndŵr Centre. Other attractions in the area include Falconry Experience Wales and Corris Mine Explorers.
