Our check-in was simple and quick, which got our stay off to a great start. The house and its grounds were absolutely brilliant for our family of 11 — plenty of space for everyone and a great setup overall. However, the property could have been much cleaner on arrival. There were quite a few dead flies and a noticeable musky smell throughout the house, which could have been easily avoided with a bit more attention before guests arrive.The location was superb, and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Given the size of the property, it really would benefit from having more than one shower — there’s definitely room to add one in the large main bathroom. As you can imagine, 11 people sharing a single shower meant some lengthy waits in the mornings!That said, the beds were clean and comfortable, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time there. With a few improvements, this could be an absolutely perfect holiday home.
