About this property

3 Bed in Southwold (oc-m27763)

Enjoy a relaxing family holiday at this charming two-storey cottage in the heart of Southwold, one of the most popular seaside towns in the Suffolk Coast & Heaths AONB. The perfect base for walkers, naturalists and beach lovers, the cottage features stylish living areas, versatile bedrooms and a beautiful landscaped garden.

This two-storey cottage is located on a quiet side street within sight of the coast; it enjoys a practical layout and a comforting ambience thanks to the natural light that pours onto contemporary soft furnishings through large windows and doors throughout. Cosy up in the lounge with a book or film, or slip into the dining room for brunches and lunches after working your magic in the sleek kitchen nearby. If anyone needs to be cleaned up after a day at the beach, send them to the shower room or the utility cupboard and they’ll be as good as new in no time. When you and yours can’t put bedtimes off any longer, retreat to the warm and welcoming king-size, twin or single bedrooms, all of which share a family bathroom that is a go-to for rejuvenating soaks. The landscaped garden at the rear of the cottage is surrounded by attractive shrubs and a Pleached Holm Cok. It is your own private oasis, a safe place for the children to play as you relax with a glass of fizz or tend to the BBQ as the sun sets on a day well spent.

It’s almost a hop, skip and jump to Southwold’s vast beach, a hut-lined stretch of sand and shingle split by its iconic pier. The town centre is brimming with shops, pubs and restaurants selling and serving local fare, and is crisscrossed by coastal and inland footpaths and trails that showcase the area’s rich array of wildlife.
