About this property
6 Bed in Richmond (oc-s30199)
Set in a Grade II-listed former Sunday school, this exquisite spa property is perfect for family gatherings and special occasions with your loved ones. Overlooking a village green in the market town of Richmond, gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, it offers all the convenience of staying in town yet easy access to a wealth of outdoor activities. Spend your days roaming picturesque dales and exploring natural wonders, before returning home to unwind in the exquisite spa and socialise in the spacious living areas.
Arranged over three storeys, this handsome, stone-built property oozes charm and character. It’s been lovingly renovated to blend original features such as slate flooring, wood panelling, beamed ceilings and an ornate fireplace with period-style furnishings and an array of original artworks, cosy cushions and throws, and verdant plants. The property comprises two apartments, each sleeping six, which can be seamlessly combined to form one stunning holiday home. There are multiple living areas, allowing you to gather together or spread out and take advantage of the space. Choose between a ground-floor lounge, a light-filled conservatory with a dining table and sofas, and a first-floor open-plan living area that combines lounge, kitchen pool table with solid table top. Two kitchens make light work of meal prep, with a second, galley-style kitchen on the ground floor.. Ease weary muscles after a day on the trails, soaking in the eight-man outdoor hot tub, swapping between the sauna and cold plunge, and unwinding next to the Himalayan salt wall. Six soothing bedrooms are divided between three floors. Choose between two king-size and a double room on the ground floor, a king-size and bunk room on the first floor, and a king-size beneath the eaves on the mezzanine level. Four bathrooms offer comfort and convenience, while on-street parking and car parks are available nearby.
With an iconic castle, historic buildings, cobbled streets and a variety of shops and eateries, Richmond has all the essentials close at hand. Enjoy a riverside stroll along the Swale, visit the ruins of Easby Abbey (within 2 miles) or hop in your car to enjoy the outdoor activities of the Yorkshire Dales.
