Keen walkers can join some magnificent cliff-top trails along the St. Bees Heritage Coast 15 miles away (the western origin point of Wainwright’s Coast-to-Coast Trail) while those who love life by the water skim stones out to sea at Workington Beach 3.5 miles away.
