About this property
Rivendell Cottage - 7-Miles from Keswick, dog-friendly
Rivendell Holiday Cottage is situated in the picturesque rural village of Bassenthwaite, 7-miles away from the bustling town of Keswick and Derwent Water.
Formally, a barn belonging to the adjacent farm, the property now offers a spacious living room, open plan kitchen and dining area, three spacious bedrooms, a bathroom and a shower room.
This Lake District cottage is a great choice for families or friends to enjoy a relaxing holiday in a peaceful location, perhaps a BBQ in the adjacent enclosed garden complete with a summer house.
Bassenthwaite Village itself is gorgeous, with tree-lined lanes, a mixture of residential properties intertwined with patches of farmland with grazing livestock, and overlooked by the majestic Skiddaw fell. The village benefits from a local pub called The Sun Inn with a large beer garden, and a gentle stream, home to ducks.
