About this property
Cottage 1 – Three bedroom cottage
Welcome to Cottage 1 at Bridge Farm, a calm and welcoming countryside escape just outside the historic city of Salisbury. One of five thoughtfully designed properties on the farm, this three-bedroom cottage blends comfort, accessibility, and rural charm—perfect for families, friends, or guests with mobility needs.
Inside, the cottage feels light, spacious, and homely. The open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area is ideal for relaxing together, with large doors opening directly onto your private patio. From here, you can enjoy views of the shared cob-walled garden or step through a gate onto the tranquil river walk, a favourite spot for morning strolls and evening unwinds.
Accessibility has been carefully considered. On the ground floor you’ll find a twin bedroom with a fully equipped, wheelchair-accessible wet room, making the cottage suitable for guests with limited mobility. Upstairs, there is a double room with an additional bed, a single bedroom, and a shared bathroom—offering flexible sleeping arrangements for up to five guests.
All beds are made up with professionally laundered linen and towels, and for stays longer than a week we’re happy to provide complimentary cleaning and fresh linen during your visit. Pets are welcome too (subject to numbers and an additional charge), so no one has to be left behind.
Although surrounded by countryside, Salisbury is close at hand. The 30-minute walk into the city is scenic and memorable, taking you through the Cathedral Close and into the medieval heart of Salisbury. Prefer to drive? The city centre is just five minutes away, with a convenient park and ride bus stop at the top of Lower Road.
Cottage 1 offers the best of both worlds—peaceful rural living with easy access to one of England’s most beautiful cathedral cities.
