During the excavation for the swimming pool, archaeologists uncovered pottery fragments estimated to be around 2,300 years old, providing evidence of continuous habitation in the area since ancient times.

Accessed by traditional Corfiot stone steps and featuring a covered porch, Diamantina boasts a beautiful walled courtyard filled with roses, oleander, and a mature weeping willow shading the pool. The shops, harbour tavernas, and beach are only a short stroll away, making it an ideal choice for guests who prefer to explore on foot. Those wishing to venture further can hire a small boat and moor it just 100 metres from the house.
