Blackstone Cottage in Salcombe, Devon sleeps six in three bedrooms.
Blackstone Cottage consists of three bedrooms (two double, one twin), plus a family bathroom, and shower room, the property accommodates six people. There is also a beautifully fitted kitchen, large sitting/dining area and delightful south facing lounge with a large window and French doors leading out to the garden. Outside is a lovely lawn, and a south facing sun terrace with table, chairs, and a barbeque – plus parking for two cars. Equally suited to families or couples, Blackstone Cottage is a lovely base for those looking to enjoy Salcombe’s highlights.
Amenities: Gas Heating. Oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer, microwave, toaster, kettle. TV, DVD, Music system AIWA. Wi-Fi and Telephone available. Parking for up to 2 cars. Garden room with south-facing garden with table and chairs and a BBQ. Note: Two well behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 0.6 miles, pub 0.8 miles

Town: Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. You can also take the small ferry across the estuary to the beaches of East Portlemouth, and a walk to Gara Rock. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including sailing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
