About this property
Martley Hall by Group Retreats
With six beautifully finished bedrooms in the main house, including a standout principal suite, plus additional guest wings and cottages, Martley Hall Estate is ideal for larger groups who want to be together while still having plenty of space. The cottages each offer their own living areas, kitchens, and terraces, giving friends and extended family the perfect balance of privacy and connection. Whether you`re planning a milestone birthday, a multi-family holiday, a corporate getaway, or a creative retreat, the layout makes hosting simple and enjoyable.
The leisure complex within the walled garden is one of Martley Hall’s greatest joys — and a guaranteed favourite for groups. The heated indoor pool is open year-round, with glass walls framing views across the gardens. A jacuzzi, infrared sauna, and luxurious changing facilities make it feel like your own private spa. Upstairs, a spacious games room offers more places to unwind or spend time together. Outside, the croquet lawn, pétanque courts, pavilion kitchen, and multiple terraces create the perfect backdrop for long afternoons, barbecues, competitions, and celebrations that stretch into the evening.
The estate’s grounds are made for exploring. Stroll through the beautifully restored walled garden, enjoy a morning coffee in the Italian courtyard, or wander towards the woodland where the historic folly sits ready for picnics or photos. Tennis courts, a half basketball court, paddocks, and meandering pathways give everyone something to enjoy, whether they`re seeking activity or quiet moments of calm.
