The beautiful Skjønnhet Cottage is a brand-new holiday home in the heart of the Kvitfjell ski resort. Perfect for eight guests, it combines Scandinavian style with a cozy atmosphere. Relax by the fireplace after a day on the slopes or enjoy the breathtaking mountain views. With four bedrooms, a wonderful living area, and access to ski and hiking trails, it's ideal for families and friends all year round.



The Space:

The beautiful Skjønnhet Cottage is located in the heart of Kvitfjell ski resort — the perfect winter destination and relaxing escape in the Norwegian mountains during the summer. The cottage sleeps up to eight guests and features two bedrooms with a queen-size bed, one bedroom with a single bed, and one bedroom with a triple bunk bed (a double bed on the bottom and a single bed on the top). There are also two full bathrooms.



Relax in the cozy living room with its comfortable seating, fireplace, and TV, or enjoy cozy dinners together in the fully equipped kitchen. Step outside onto the spacious terrace, breathe in the fresh mountain air, relax by the fire pit, and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.



The ski slopes are just a short distance from the cottage in the Varden area. Within 1 to 2 minutes, you can be on the slopes at the Vesleseter Express. For more experienced skiers, it's a true ski-in/ski-out experience, as you ski through the trees onto the green slope!



With free parking right by the house and direct access to nature, Skjønnhet Cottage offers comfort, warmth and relaxed mountain living all year round.

From Skjønnhet Cottage, you can ski straight onto the trails in winter — the ski area is perfect for both beginners and experienced skiers. Just a 15-minute drive away, you’ll find the charming village of Fåvang, where you can pick up groceries, enjoy local cafés, or dine in cozy restaurants. When the snow melts, Kvitfjell transforms into a peaceful summer paradise, ideal for hiking, mountain biking, and exploring scenic trails with breathtaking views of the Gudbrandsdalen valley. Whether you’re seeking adventure or relaxation, Kvitfjell and Fåvang together offer the perfect blend of nature, comfort, and Norwegian charm all year round.



Getting Around:

Skjønnhet Cottage offers an authentic ski experience: you can step outside and ski to the nearest slope in just a minute. Kvitfjell's main valley station, with ski lifts, rental shops, and several restaurants, is about a 5-minute drive away. The nearest supermarket is in Fåvang, about a 15-minute drive away, and the charming village of Ringebu is a 20-minute drive away. The train station is located in the Favang valley and offers connections to Lillehammer and Oslo. From Oslo Airport Gardermoen, it takes about 2 hours and 45 minutes by car, or about 3 hours by train to Ringebu. There is parking for two cars right next to the cottage, and the roads are well maintained year-round.



Other Things to Note:

Bed linen, towels and firewood are provided for your stay, so you can settle in and feel at home right away. After booking, you’ll receive a welcome guide with all the information you need — from check‑in instructions to practical tips about the cabin. The property is easily accessible in all seasons, though during heavy snowfall we recommend a 4x4 vehicle or snow chains. Enjoy a cozy fireplace, fast Wi‑Fi, and a terrace overlooking the valley — ideal for relaxing after a day outdoors.
