Opened in 1852, The Cresselly Inn is the oldest coach inn in Mountain Ash, a town at the heart of Welsh coal mining and steam train heritage. Find us at www.cressellyinn.com. Renovated in 2025 with the addition of 7 B&B rooms, it has 4 double rooms, one single, a family room with twin beds or a super-king plus a sofa bed, and a disabled access room with twin beds or a super-king plus an armchair-single bed. There is a lift to the first floor, a 7-day a week restaurant and the friendliest bar in the Cynon Valley. A Welsh treat!
