Summer holiday
Multi-generation family summer holiday found this accommodation suited our needs perfectly. It was close to everything, yet away from traffic & noise (other than the lovely, gurgling sound of the nearby stream). Should we
return to that area this will be the place for us!

This home accomodates multi families. It is perfect for a large group. The summer feature is the large wrap-around deck and the screened porch overlooking the babbling brook. Wonderful for large group of skiers also, as it is ON Attitash Mt.

This house was great! We had a group of 10 and everyone fit perfectly! There’s a stream out back that’s sounds are so soothing. There is an enclosed porch to enjoy the outdoors without the bugs and a great wrap around porch with multiple seating options. The ac works great!!! The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. There’s a propane grill outside too. This place was beyond our expectations for the price. We hope to stay here again!
Stayed for a week in August. Plenty of room for everyone. Hearing the "brook" (which was raging cause of all the recent rain) is amazing!!! Huge deck plus awesome screen room right up to the woods! Super relaxing. Kitchen had everything and then some.
Excellent location for hiking and swimming! Loved the porch and deck, lots of room for our family of 6. Owner/host became more responsive once we were there and acted to address our concerns with cleanliness. The other host, who lives in the lower level, was very friendly and helpful in getting propane for the grill. We ended up having to take our trash home with us in addition to bringing our own linens and towels. With a good, thorough cleaning, this place would be a comfortable and beautiful spot to enjoy. It felt like a treehouse! We are grateful to have found it!
I don’t even know where to begin! This property was above and beyond what I expected - the pictures do not do justice! It is such a breathtaking cabin in the woods - perfect for large groups and it was perfect for us! We all had so much fun! We can’t wait to plan our next stay here and will continue to use it in the future! Thanks so much again for everything Sonnie!

So glad you liked it and had such a super time. We also want to relax and forget all that is going on in the world out there and laugh and enjoy all, and each other. You just have touched a smigen of what there is to do up there. We discover new things almost every time we go...Thank you for your nice comments..Look forward to having you again. Sonnie..
We had a wonderful time, and Sonnie's house was a terrific base from which to explore a lovely area, and also cook big meals for the family. We ventured quite a bit and saw bear, moose, fox and enjoyed Echo Lake (go early when they open!), Diana's Baths, Cathedral Ledge. We even drove the 2 hours and went deep sea fishing on the coast! Sonnie and her downstairs neighbor were very helpful. Thank you!

Thank you. You were good tenants and would be available for future times. You left the house in good condition when you left. That is another Thank you.
The condo was easy to find and was located close to many attractions. It was definitely a little dated and had a musty smell when we first arrived. There were also many small black dead flies in the bathroom. Be aware there is only one ac in family room so bedrooms can get hot. We really enjoyed the screened in porch. Having to bring your own sheets and towels for ten people was a bit of a pain.

So very sorry about the musty smell. I think it probably came from the wood stove and when there is a temp change you may get a bit of a wood smell. The tiny dead flies in the bathroom is a mystery, however hard to control when you're in the woods. I assure you the bathroom was cleaned prior to your arrival. Air conditioner: It's a whole house air conditioner (not a window unit) I think if you left the bedrooms doors open during the day, the rooms would be cool. At least that has been our experience when we've stayed there. Bringing your own sheets & towels, albeit a pain keeps the rental rates and cleaning fees far more affordable for you.

Very Nice Property Owner whomever is paid to clean does not
We had a great time in the area and this house is location location location.
Unfortunately the property owner is being taken advantage of by the cleaners. I documented the issues for the owner and she was very apologetic and communication with her was simple. There is not much to do other then reclean ourselves.
Otherwise, the house is as described. It's furnishing are dated, that does not effect comfort and room though.
Again I will mention the location is amazing.

Everything that was brought to my attention was taken care of. This was a new cleaner, as my previous cleaner died. I have been very pleased how the new one has pitched right in to help the situation. I, honestly, think this renter was looking for a much fancier place than mine. Mine is more rustic and relaxed. He sent me pictures of some ceiling heat webs (I do have a wood stove that contributes to those) that needed to be addressed. I thanked and apologized to the renter for his input and pictures, and I advised the new cleaner of these mishaps. I realize that this can be upsetting to the renters and their children. All future renters can be assured that these issues have been remedied . Not living in the area, I have to rely on others...
Pictures really don’t do the house justice, what a wonderful place. We had sooo much space for our family- there were 6 of us. We felt right at home and the house had everything we needed. Location was perfect. We will certainly be back!
Our extended family stayed together to celebrate 88 birthday of our matriarch. Perfect spot for outdoor lovers! The house was quiet, close to everything and far away from it all! Enough room for all to sleep, eat, play and enjoy.
The things we loved about this property were amazing. The location is wonderful — close to everything we wanted to do, nestled into the woods, quiet with that lovely brook babbling in the background.
The deck and screened in porch are wonderful. It expanded the house space amazingly and allowed for separate areas for adults and kids.
There are some weak areas too. The house is dark, the lighting — especially in the kitchen — was dim at best. The bedrooms are small and the indoor public area is limited.
But the proof’s in the pudding, would we come back? It’s such a lovely spot, and we spent most of our time outside anyway, sure we would.
Bonus: Ask your host about her map to local swimming holes — they were the highlight of the trip!
I went up to Bartlett last weekend to get away and have some down time
There was 9 of us in total,
My wife and I, her sister and boyfriend , my wife’s parents and three kids 11, 6 and 16 months
This weekend went beautifully. The house was spacious and so much nicer than the pictures lead on. The location is ideal for all the action and activity in this area
Sonnie is a dream to rent from . We had a lovely conversation right before I stayed and she goes out of her way to make this house a home and make everyone extra comfortable. I will be coming back here and will definitely stay in this home. Thank you again Sonnie, your house was great
Sonnie was a pleasure to book with and the property was in a great location to access a lot of the sites we were interested in. The mountain cabin feels very secluded and private with a stream that my kids enjoyed exploring. There was plenty of rooms for everyone to spread out. We had a wonderful time.
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. There is plenty of room, lots of sleeping accommodations. We enjoyed the screened in porch with the sound of the brook behind it. It's conveniently located, near restaurants, shopping, and many attractions while still being secluded. Sonnie was a very responsive owner.
This place was a good option for me as I was in the area for the weekend to work an event at Attitash. It was conveniently located only a few minutes away! Check in was easy and Sonnie was informative about what we needed to bring with us. I could see how this place would be great for a group of friends or a family. My only suggestion would be to mark the house number more clearly from the street. I arrived at night and it was hard to see in the dark. Thank you, Sonnie!

Thanks for the suggestion. Will get bigger house numbers that reflect as there is no street lights and it really really gets dark at night. Glad you enjoyed it. We have and look fprward to our times up there.
Very nice location of this property- quiet and accessible! Spacious inside and all amenities provided. I would go back and would also recommend!

Great location, but small and stinky
The house is conveniently located to all things NH. It has a lot of potential to be a great place, but the smell of cat urine smacks you in the face as you walk into the house. It was seriously gross. I had a box of dryer sheets in my car. We put those everywhere and we bought febreeze to use while we were there. It helped get us through the 4 days we were staying, but I had to wash EVERYTHING when we got home. The place absolutely reeked. I've never experienced anything like it. The bedrooms are very small with about 15 inches of space around the bed(s) in each bedroom, so pack light. There are closets in each bedroom which help. 2 of the 4 bedrooms had TVs, which was a nice touch. The living room is tiny and does not have ample seating, in addition to being completely uncomfortable. I think a summer stay would be a lot nicer because the screen room and the deck are huge and the view is beautiful and peaceful.

As a renter,...... if you would have contacted me,.... I believe I could have been able to correct this.
This is the woman and her cat, who lives in the basement unit. It has all since been taken care of. She has all new furnishings, carpet, and had it all repainted. I called the tenant, once I found out about it, and she admitted to me that her kitty litter needed to be disposed. I do apologize for the odor, as that could have been corrected immediately and I do know that can be offensive. However, because I did not get a call , nothing was done.
Also, regarding the size of the bedrooms..... They are small w/closets and adequate and each has a flat screen TV. There are a total of 5 TV's in the house.
Remember, there are NO BUNK BEDS in my home,. Most places have bunks.
The bedrooms and closets are fine and adequate for a vacation house. Plus, there are 4 bedrooms and a loft.

GREAT MULTI FAMILY VACA
We had our family up from South Carolina for a week, and they could not believe how quiet this place was, considering we were so close to the action. We have been to North Conway many times, and did not even know that this place existed. Quiet and peaceful. The pictures in the ad are spot on - the chalet is roomy and beautiful. We had 2 families ( 3 kids ages 14-17), and the adults slept on the main level and the kids slept on the second floor. Tons of space, and every utensil you could think of to prep and cook meals (if you do that sort of thing on vaca- we do !!). Our favorite spot was the screened in deck. The outside deck seems to have space for 50, lots of room and seats. Just about all the attractions we were interested in were in very close proximity - Diana's Baths, Cathedral Ledge, Mt Washington, Echo ledge. And downtown No. Conway is 10 minutes away. The owner, although not on site, was never more than a quick e-mail away. Very friendly and helpful. We all had a great vaca !

What they say is so true. There is plenty of room for more than one family. Great to share with another family or two. The stream that is located on the property is so soothing also, to listen to at night. Our family played cards out on the screen porch way into the night and most times ate our meals out there too. Come and enjoy. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

We had an absolute blast!!!!!
This isn't what I was expecting! To me this house was perfect! Everyone is right, that small waterfall is very soothing to listen to while you drink your morning coffee in the screened in porch (or eat dinner out there every night). This place has all the upgraded amenities of home (Flatscreen tv's 4, Milk shake machine, like new appliances and everything works!!!) with the rustic charm of a cabin. The pictures are really not great - this place is fabulous. We had 9 people (2 families) and there was more than enough room - what a great deal - best we could find on the web/anywhere. We will definitely be back - would just like to thank the owner, you were very kind and accommodating and because of you we have some great additions to our photo albums. Definitely Awesome!!!!!
