About this property

Have fun at the imperfectly perfect Gwyndre Dobson Properties - 3 bedrooms - Triple bunk bed (a double under a single) a king sized and a superking bed 5 minute walk to Edern village (with cosy pub, The Ship) and 20 minute walk to 2 different beaches and to Morfa Nefyn. Our house has a cosy log burner and a downstairs toilet. A fully equipped new kitchen and a beautiful established garden to unwind in! It has a gated parking area.
The rooms are decorated with my own art. Dogs are welcome
The space
A large end terrace cottage with an enclosed back garden. 2 bedrooms on the first floor. 1 superking bed in the attic room (steps are steep) A living room and dining area with seating for 5 people.
There are so many amazing places to visit from our house - Snowdonia only being a 40 minute drive away.
- zip world with bounce below and surfing.
- Portmerion (an Italian village by the coast!)
- Festiniog railway 🚃
- Ty Coch pub on the beach (a beautiful tranquil and sheltered swimming spot)
- Abersoch for its fancy restaurants and surfing 🏄♀️
- The golf club in Morfa Nefyn if you’re keen on golfing.
- Caernarfon Castle
- Betws y coed.
- climbing snowdon
- Nant the lost village
- Porth Iago is an amazing beach 🏝️ well worth a visit
The Lynn is amazing for walking, biking or just to see the many sights. It really is a beautiful place to take a break whether it be summer or winter. I’m a keen swimmer myself and I swim in summer and winter in the bay (only 20 minute walk from our house) 🏡 it’s a very beautiful spot.
We’d love to welcome you to Gwyndre and make your stay fantastic. I offer a quick call before you stay to answer any questions and also talk through the local walks.
Once you’ve booked you also receive a free digital print of my artwork of the Ty coch pub and beach 🏝️
You can climb the local mountains 🏔️ the rivals.
I have a high chair and cot available too but you will need to bring your own bedding for the travel cot. There is a washing machine and dishwasher.
Please note our house is over 150 years old there may be parts of it that creak a bit! But this is part of its character :) it’s not a new build! Please don’t think that this house is 5 star luxury - if you like a comfy base in a stunning location with everything you need to relax book this lovely house - but if you prefer hot tubs and pure luxury please book something in Abersoch for a bit more of a cost. We cannot guarantee that there may not be cobweb or some scratched paintwork but we do our best to maintain the house and try to keep the cost of the stay down :) The bathroom and kitchen are completely refurbished.
Our company is called Dobson Properties and we love to make a guests stay enjoyable :)
If you would like to have logs ready for your arrival we can provide these at the following costs:
1 night: £7
2 nights £14
Please give me a call once you’ve booked and I can order these for you! :)
Please make sure to bring firelighters with you.
Please also note there is no central heating upstairs - this is not a problem as the whole house is warmed by the underfloor heating downstairs and the heater in the bathroom. The log burner heats the entire house and is very cosy once it’s on! :)
We also have extra throws in the winter. If you have to have heating on in the bedrooms at night please don’t book this house, we never have the heating on in our bedroom at night but I know some people that do.
We really look forward to welcoming you to Gwyndre our perfect but not so perfect home 🏡
Guest access
Walks around the area are beautiful and plentiful. The cliffes pub is just down the road and serves great food! There is also a little shop to buy milk and bread and other essentials from!
Please be aware we no longer supply logs
Other things to note
I offer a call to talk through the walks if that’s something you’d like or if you have any questions about the area before you travel!
Please note that we do not supply coffee pods for the coffee machine but we try to supply instant coffee please do not get cross if this has run out!
We do our best to keep it well stocked. We also try and keep salt and pepper in the house but some people don’t like to use the house stuff so bring your own if you’d rather not use ours :)
There are essentials like pasta and rice available for you to use :) we know what it’s like if you’ve been travelling all day and need something quick!
Please also make sure that your dogs don’t go upstairs in the beds :)
