The Forge consists of a kitchen/diner with electric oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, wine chiller, kettle, and toaster, and a sitting room with Smart TV and woodburning stove. The bedrooms include a king-size with en-suite bath, shower over, basin, and WC, and two king-size rooms, serviced by a shower room and a ground-floor shower room. Outside, there is an enclosed courtyard with furniture and a charcoal barbecue, off-road parking for two cars (one in garage), and EV charging available at an additional 20GBP per night. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 0.1 miles, river 0.3 miles. The Winnats Pass cuts a course through superb scenery just a couple of miles away in Castleton, and is a delight for walkers, cyclists and motorists alike. Nearby are the pretty villages of Edale, the start of the Pennine Way, Castleton and Hathersage with its seasonal outdoor swimming pool, while horse riding and the wonderful Castleton Caves are all available within 3 miles. Enjoy a day out at Alton Towers or visit the impressive Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. Also within easy reach are Buxton, Matlock Bath and Carsington Water, while further afield are the market towns of Ashbourne and Leek.
