Guests will have access to the outdoor area, with tables, barbecue, swimming pool and parking space. Regarding the use of the pool, it will be shared only by 2 houses: Retiro do Escritor (3 people maximum) and Casa do Viajante (4 people maximum). Regarding safety, and despite all the efforts we have made to minimize risks, children should never, ever be left unsupervised by their parents, especially in the pool area, AS THE POOL IS NOT SUPERVISED!

Just a 45-minute drive from Porto city center, 1 hour from Porto airport, 1 hour and 30 minutes from Régua (main destination for Port wine), 45 minutes by car from the Atlantic Ocean or 25 minutes from the Paiva Walkways. It's the perfect location if you want to explore the northern region of Portugal.

From the property you can take the riverside walking route "Viver o Douro", we recommend the following walks: - neighboring village of Midões (1km), Raiva beach (2km) Pedorido beach (6.5km).
