Barn Owl is a stunning stone barn conversion located in a traffic free setting with ample private car parking and vehicle charging. The cottage boasts four beautifully furnished bedrooms two of which are ensuite and one of which is located on the ground floor ideal for those who find stairs a challenge.All bedrooms have a colour television. The property has a sunny south facing private courtyard garden with table and chairs for 8 people to enjoy alfresco dining on warm summer evenings. Two barbeques are provided.For those looking for a quiet location yet enjoying easy access to both the moors and the beautiful coastline of South Devon this is the perfect location. A shared indoor swimming pool and games room offer children and adults alike a place to enjoy time together.A log burner in the lounge supplements the heating throughout the property making this an extremely comfortable place to stay in all seasons. Free Wi-Fi is also provided in both the cottage and the games room.
The cottage is set in the beautiful rolling countryside of the South Hams with far reaching views and the grounds incorporate a play area for younger children as well as a meadow for ball games.
Electric car charging points are available in the large car-park.
A number of supermarkets offer delivery services to the cottage including Morrisons, Sainsburys, ASDA,Waitrose and Marks and Spencer.
Dartmoor is a National Park offering a beautiful and varied landscape with many attractions including mountain biking, zip-wires and pony trekking as well as a number of National Trust houses and gardens and is located within 5 miles.
The beautiful South Devon coastline can be easily accessed and stretches to the border with Cornwall and the Jurassic Coast of Lyme Regis and provides stunning beaches offering miles of golden sands as well as secluded coves. At Bigbury On Sea there is even the opportunity to ride the famous sea tractor which connects the mainland to Burgh Island home of the famous Burgh Island Hotel as featured in Agatha Christie's novels.
The nearby towns of Totnes, Dartmouth, Torquay and Salcombe offer a range of shopping and leisure facilities as well as boat trips along the River Dart and coast.
At nearby Staverton it's possible to board the Dart Valley steam train which connects to Torquay and Dartmouth and delights passengers of all ages as it passes through breathtaking scenery.
