Steeped in heritage, the cottage dates back to 1188 and was once home to an antique shop and artist’s gallery. It’s the perfect retreat for couples, small families, or those seeking a tranquil getaway in the picturesque village of Cartmel.
The Space
• Bedrooms: Two - one Super king-size bed and one king-size bed, and a shared dressing room for you to enjoy!
• The master bedroom features calming dove grey tones and a shuttered window.
• A quirky second bedroom spans two levels, with a Velux-lit upper level perfect as a dressing room, study, or extra sleeping area for a little one.
• Living Area: The cosy lounge boasts an electric log-burning stove set into a historic fireplace. Open plan living space, great for entertaining. Comfortable seating and a large dining table, making it ideal for relaxing night in.
• Kitchen: Recently renovated with inky blue cabinets, brass accents, and modern appliances, including an AEG oven, Neff induction hob, dishwasher, and washing machine. Again enjoy cooking, while chatting with your friends and family.
• Bathroom: A newly fitted shower room with walk-in shower, stylish black-edged glass screen, and contemporary fixtures.
• Outdoor Space: Step out into the shared south-facing courtyard, perfect for morning in the summer. There is also space to store a bike in our outbuilding. Please let us know if you are bringing your bikes.

Compact but everything needed was there.Slight smell of damp, but not overwhelming. Great location, managed to get a parking place on the street which was a bonus. Good communication with the letting agents.
