I had a very bad experience here. There was a major problem, it didn’t get solved and I do not think the host handled it well at all. I arrived to find that it was 30 degrees (centigrade) in the apartment. The roof windows were open and the bathroom floor was soaked from the rain. Both thermostats were on and set to 22 but the air conditioning wasn’t working at all. I contacted the host. I received instructions for resetting the thermostat. I had to move a bunch of mops out of the way, turn two circuit breakers off and on and wait fifteen minutes. Nothing changed. I told the host i was leaving. He said i had to do the reset again and send him a video to make sure i did it right. I told him i wasn’t wasting more time there. I did it already, it wasn’t complicated, i did it right and i was leaving. I asked for a refund. He said if i wanted to leave without sending a video that was my choice but he would not give a refund. During this whole time, the host’s communication was excruciatingly slow. I was wasting my time and waiting over six or seven minutes for each response. All of this came after I had to stand in the rain for over five minutes at 20:00 waiting for the door code that the host failed to send in the afternoon. In thinking back on it, the host must have known the air conditioning wasn’t working. Otherwise why would he leave it set to 22 with the windows open? Base on these facts I have given this host the lowest rating and i recommend not staying here.
