Cesira House was founded in the late '30s of the last century on the initiative of the Maggi family. Before being used for housing purposes, in the first years of its establishment, the house was used as a barn and later as a cellar to store wine and other seasonal food that were cultivated and collected in the area. The holiday home is named in memory of Cesira Federici , wife of Egisto Maggi , who with so much love and dedication offered guests a welcoming place where they could sleep and refresh themselves. In fact, many inhabitants of the town, at the turn of the 60-70s, stayed in the house for long periods. Cesira was also a direct forerunner farmer . From the garden adjacent to the house, he grew vegetables, and fruits at km 0: tomatoes, zucchini, potatoes, salad, plums, nuts and figs . Today, the Cesira House has been completely renovated and used as a vacation home for short stays.
