Casa Canevini - apartment in Garda

The wine cellars are the symbol of the daily history of many families of Garda. Carved at the foot of the rock, for several centuries they have been the pantry, the larder for entire generations. The constant temperature guaranteed by the rock has allowed food to be preserved in these recesses.



Casa Canevini was built above these natural cellars, located a few hundred metres from the centre of Garda village. From the road below, 13 steps lead to the entrance, situated on a small terrace with a view of the hills. You enter a lovely habitable kitchen (4-burner cooker, fridge, freezer, oven, microwave), with a large fireplace on the side and a table with 6 chairs; service bathroom with washing machine, one double bedroom, one room with a bunk bed; small rear courtyard with barbecue and outdoor furniture. From the kitchen, you climb 14 steps of a beautiful wooden staircase and access the living room, on the large mezzanine, with two sofa beds, satellite TV and a bathroom with shower.
