Rockfish Farmhouse - Home In the heart of The Rockfish Valley

The Rockfish Farmhouse is a quaint destination in the Rockfish Valley of Nelson County. The house was built in the early 1900's and we've tried to retain the Farmhouse charm and have completely renovated the entire house. Very close to Wintergreen, wineries, breweries, and US bike route 76, and Skyline drive. This house is on it's own property with super cute calves in the pasture behind the house.

We stayed at this property in the beginning of May! The location is perfect. There are so many wineries and breweries on the same road as this rental. The owners were very easy to communicate with and very friendly! Would definitely stay again

Great farmhouse!

My girlfriends and I stayed in the farmhouse and it was more than amazing. We loved sitting on the back porch with our morning coffee taking in the beautiful Mountain view and the cows! The house is spotless and has everything you need. Very close to nearby wineries!

UVA Grad Trip

We were very impressed with the house! It was very clean, fresh and plenty of room. The views were amazing, we enjoyed the fire pit and communication with Sarah was easy. It was a little far of a drive (30 minutes) from UVA but we took advantage of all the wineries, breweries and hiking in the Afton area that made it worth it! We totally enjoyed our stay!!

Bachelorette Weekend

A group of 8 of us stayed here for a bachelorette weekend and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Everyone had a comfortable stay, plenty of room for gathering and the backyard was so beautiful! Great House, Beautiful Views

We had a wonderful stay. The house is more than it's description. The house is spotless and well stocked with all that you need. The views are incredible and the fire pit is amazing. We enjoyed the fire pit even though the temps were in the low 30's. The house is close to wineries and breweries. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone looking in this area.

Cutest Farmhouse - great owners

I couldn't say enough positive things about our stay. The farmhouse was just adorable. Sarah (the owner) checked on us arriving and during our stay. We had forgotten our supplies for s'mores and it was special treat to have a basket of s'mores supplies. The fire pit was lovely and we truly enjoyed everything about the house. Girlfriends weekend away

Charming, comfortable home that was well appointed and in a wonderful location. Home features, comfortable bedding, toiletries provided, fully stocked kitchen, fire pit and firewood. Beautiful view of the mountains and within a short distance of wineries, breweries and hiking. We were a group of 5 friends having a girls weekend, but all want to come back with our families. What a lovely place!

This house was perfect for our stay. It’s a nice mixture of an early 20th century farmhouse with many modern amenities and flourishes. The hosts have it set-up perfectly with guest comfort in mind, as well as ease of use. The house is exactly as described and shown in the photos; if anything, it’s even nicer than I was expecting. The view of the mountains is beautiful and can be enjoyed from well-built deck or the Adirondacks around the new and clean firepit. The hosts were wonderful. I have zero negative feedback with this rental. Highly, highly recommended!

Cute, clean, delightful country house

We loved staying at the Rockfish Farmhouse. It was incredibly clean upon arriving, charming, up-to-date, and comfortable. The kitchen was well-supplied, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable. The yard, especially, the backyard, was great for our three young kids. We enjoyed using the fire pit to make s'mores. The house's driveway is just off a busy road, which did not have any real impact on our stay but is worth noting. Beautiful views of the mountains from the backyard. Easy hiking trails and fun breweries and wineries are just a short drive away. Would highly recommend for families -- we'd certainly return!
