Four acres of land will ensure your privacy and leave you feeling like you're at one with nature. Perched a mere 20 feet from the lake, you can watch the sun come up in the morning while having coffee on the deck, and listen to the loons lull you to sleep each evening.
In Hartland, Maine, on the 3856 acre Great Moose Lake, camp is surrounded by natural beauty in an area that is primarily undeveloped providing for a peaceful retreat and the opportunity to reconnect with nature. Our cottage is on the northeast cove granting easy access to the main lake and is not congested with boat traffic.
Just over three hours from Boston, camp is a spectacular place to visit from spring through fall. It sits on 4 acres land with 420 feet of water front and a dock for water access, boating, and swimming. On sight are two kayaks, a canoe, and row boat for your use. Fishing is open year-round and the successful angler can catch brown trout, large / small mouth bass, perch, and catfish.
In the fall, the foliage is rivaled only by the white mountains and Great Moose Lake is a quiet paradise in which to enjoy the autumn colors and the wildlife abound.
Camp has been completely remodeled with knotty pine throughout, area rugs, and new furniture. With two levels, the main floor is open and consists of a living room (right on the lake) with the kitchen and dining area all in one cozy space. A breakfast bar provides additional seating and new appliances give camp a comfortable finished feel while the bathroom offers a shower, toilet, washer, and dryer. The upstairs loft has also been finished with knotty pine, wall-to-wall carpeting, and has two beds, a queen and a double.
