We love Albarella with its sunsets over the water, the deer wandering through the pines, the absolute quiet in the evenings. It's a safe island where children ride bikes, dinners last until midnight, and nobody is in a hurry.
The Po Delta nature reserve surrounds you, and Venice is close enough for a day trip but far enough to feel like a different world. After years of visiting, we still look forward to every stay.
